e bay's auction site is just a big big joke, every one who clicks on the bids, you can find seller created id's (less than 30 days old ), if e- bay really wants to have this procedure TRANSPERANT no one shud be allowed to bid who is less than 30 days old, he can only do this transaction on Buy it now for 30 days & then become eligible to bid, this can really keep a tab on seller created Id's, HOPE THIS IS IMPLEMENTED, or else e - bay's Auction site will be e-bay's Auction & QUIT from India.

Dear, eBay has got a full system with which it tracks down all related id's of sellers. This included tracking IP address, Mac address of system as well. This means not only network i.e. internet access point is tracked it also keeps record of every

And this type of bidding on one's own item is known as shill bidding. And if eBay finds out about it all ids of that seller are suspended.

Hello !

As told by "linusstudios" Shill bidding is very difficult on ebay these days. However there are a lot new buyers who takes ebay auction very lightly. Most of them are not serious and they creates problem to both - seller as well as genuine buyers - bidders.
The only way to avoid such non genuine bidders, is to put some reserve money like Rs 100 or 200 with paisapay before taking part in ebay auctions. Incase such bidder does not pay on winning the auction, this reserve money should not be refunded.
Unless there is some loss to non genuine bidders due to false bidding, shill bidding can not be stopped.
