i bought a portable hard disk of 320 GB from one of ebay supplier **** the disk delievered was of 250 Gb with 2 years warranty.Now within 6 months the disk is not reading and is making strange noises.The telephone numbers given by the supplier does not work.Iam struck with this defective disk with no option to contact the supplier.

Negative feedback is the buyers best weapon to make a seller pay for his/her bad deeds.
You can try an email warning before leaving negative feedback. I think the Seller should respond positively to that.

The negative feedback threat working only if you are within the 90 day period after that there is nothing that can bind the seller to honor the warranty.
Ebay is fully aware of thus loophole but trading happily goes on. Those who are unlucky like the buyer above suffer.

I purchased an iphone 2g 8gb from a seller through ebay.He had given the details of what is the defect in the phone but when i recieved the item there were many defects in the item.
after that i contacted the seller he said that he himselves didn't know about that defect.
then he asked me to pack the item and the courier personal will come and take the item back and take the item from you.the seller said that after that i will refund the money back.
I havent yet shipped the item back,so can you please suggest me what to do

All HDD manufacturer Seagate, Iomega, Iball, Western digital etc are reputed one & give due importance to complaint.
Please check brand of HDD & search info on net
