Wrong Adjustment Passed without Calling ( eBay Guarantee Claim No.68904 )

eBay has today deducted Rs.413/- from our account against eBay Guarantee Claim No.68904.

It is to be noted that buyer purchased two products with manufacturer warranty from us last month. One of the same was working fine while other had some technical problem for which we suggested the buyer to either contact local service centre or send the product back to us through eBay to get the replacement.

The buyer then accordingly raised the claim to get the replacement back but he never sent faulty item back to us as according to him the eBay never advised him the required procedure.

after receipt of claim mail, we had instantly replied to eBay that to advise the buyer to either contact local OEM service centre or send the product back to us.

Nobody from eBay contacted us in this regard and today suddenly the amount of both products got deducted from our account.

The buyer is also not aware about it. He now has both the products and the money is being refunded to him.

For no fault, We are now at the mercy of the buyer to get the money refund......

In this case: eGuarantee Claim #69289 (KMM57275743V69912L0KM), the buyer filed claim on 5th Dec 2011 and today is 15th Sec 2011, 10 days have passed and nobody has called to get the claim resolved.

Ebay gives big talks on "Customer Satisfaction" and levies refund penalty on the sellers, reduces dispatch time to 5 days reduces receiving time to 7 days but its own backyard is littered with crap which they cannot clean. Such shameful is their condition.

Only when some ebay.com persons will come to India and see the pathetic conditions of operations here only then will things improve. Their silence is most puzzling.

Today, another unfair refund got approved in favour of buyer
even when we mailed the correct POD to the eBay two days
ago.

Refund request was initiated on eBay item # 220903611221.

Claim adjuster called us on Saturday, 17.12.2011 at around 3:00 PM while informing us that docket no as posted by us in the
system is showing delivery to some other state.

We then told him that their might be a possibility that due
to some human error, the docket no of buyer got reversed with another buyer and requested him to give us some time to check.

He agreed to that and told us that either we call us or he will call us before 5.00 PM to confirm the same.

We then checked our records and found that by mistake of our freight forwarder, the docket no got reversed with another client.

The actual Speedpost AWB No. was EV252560672IN which clearly shows that the buyer himself received the product on 14.12.2011.

We then tried calling the no. as given by claim adjuster but it constantly gave engage tone or number not exist message. We then tried calling to other no from which his call was received but this no after giving one ring, put our call on hold for infinite period and after that the call got disconnected. We tried calling to theses nos. multiple times but failed.

We then tried calling eBay's toll free no but it was also gave engage tone continuously. We then tried contacting over chat but it also showed that chat is off.

Atlast, we send POD to the eBay by email on 17 December, 2011 3:56 PM but still the refund got processed in buyer favour on 19.12.2011 without any further call from claim adjuster.

The same POD has now been forwarded to seller protection.............

Today, third refund got approved for PaisaPay ID 30392479674 even when the POD (AFL AWB No. 700013610656) for the same was already mailed to PaisaPay POD three days ago on 26 December, 2011 at 12:28 PM.

The buyer again got the product and money back and we are again suffering for no fault of us.

The same mail has now again been forwarded to seller protection but we are still waiting to hear from their side.............

Similar thing happened with me. One of claim adjuster Mr. Dev. Who Is This Fool Dev? Who Hired Him? Is He Not Having Sense To Speak To Seller Before Approving Claim In Favor Of Buyer? Is This Your Policy?

Wee Sold one chineese Mobile Phone To One Of The Buyer. He Received On 3rd Day From Order Date. He Not Confirmed Receipt Also. As Courier Delivered To Him So I Sent Massage To Him That Confirm Product Receipt On EBay. Then He Started Sending Mails That He Not Like This Phone And He Want Replacement. When We Asked Him That What Exactly Issue Are You Facing With A Product. He Said Its Cheap Quality Model. Still We Told That If You Not Happy With A Product We Will Provide Replacement With Same Brand And Same Model. Then He Was Only Forcing Us To Send Different Branded Mobile. The Product Which He Purchased Is Non-Branded Product. How We Will Replace With Branded One?

So I Told Him That Itโ€™s Not Possible To Me To Replace The Product With Any Other Branded One. If You Want We Are Ready To Replace With Same Brand And Same Model For Which He Refused. Now This Fool Mr. Dev Approved Claim in His Favor. I Haven't Got Any Product And Also Lost My Money.

Is This EBayโ€™s Policy? Why Should I Suffer From Loss If Customer Getting Same As Per Description.

What Kind Of Things Are These Fool claim adjusters are Doing?

Dear Fellow sellers,

Please do not believe Ebay guarantee/Seller protection/ Trust & safety anymore,

I have list of great examples here.

As we sell products with manufacturers warranty the way any shop keeper sells who has a physical shop.

We do ask buyer to contact manufactures as physical stores so.

Even though Our listings have clearly mentioned Product comes with 3 years of manufactures warranty as well as we have defined return policy,

"feedback left by buyer stating product is not working give me refund or replacement" is not removed without any proper justification,

I contacted TNS people over the phone believe me i got reply stating if the product button is not working or any other defect then its covered under manufactures warranty and untill then it is not covered if buyer says product is not working and its defective.

Believe or not another member said, Instead of manufactures warranty we should write in ebay listing it has national warranty for the same reason feedback can not be removed

I spoke to third TNS person and he told me sir how the buyer will feel if he received product not working so looking at his point of view we can not remove negative feedback.

I spoke to one more member and she said buyer need refund and unless we give him refund the problem is not resolved so feedback can not be removed.

Really need proper training to these guys to understand what is warranty and how does it work, Differences betn seller and manufactures warranty,

Also need to train them ebay return policy option is biggest proof of stating our warranty terms as well.

The same thing with E guarantee people. They do take claims for product comes with manufactures warranty and if buyer receives product and he claims damaged or broken after 1 week they will still refund buyer.

If the product is return back due to wrong address of buyer of no communication from buyer still in such cases they do not want to wait and refund buyers and put Paisapay penalty on our heads,

There are major flaws in policies of ebay and not sure if all matured guys are sitting in TNS call centre.

This is very serious issues since Ebay is getting very Biased towards buyers

In next post i will put names of those employees with their recorded statements which are funny.

This is the thing I told last time also to you. eBay just want only seller's who offer products at cheapest price. Once you provide and face any issue no one will support you. If buyer left unfair feedback then also no one help you. They only work as per there policy's. Why is this limitation?
