Why item video is not allowed here,When its allowed on other eBay websites?

Dear eBay,
I am surprised to know that it is not allowed to upload video on eBay India.

Uploading product video always helps to convince the potential buyers to go ahead with the purchase.

Just think when a picture speaks a thousand words,how much a nice product video will help to attract more buyers and hence sales.

What is the point of now allowing item/product video?

All other eBay sites like ebay.com,eBay.uk,eBay.au are allowing video.

Please kindly change your policy towards uploading video and let us upload video,this will be a very good step for the betterment of sellers,buyers and eBay.

I request all my eBay member to please provide their valuble input.

eBay staff will respond as each and every post will be verified by higher management also. It takes time as they need some time to understand question and get things together before responding.

Hi,

I am dealing in many branded products where videos are available for most of the products.

Adding a YouTube Link in TurboLister is necessary to improve good description.

Also customers can feel the product and usage before ordering.

Hoping to see eBay India response (atleast) if cannot be implemented. ---------------

No wonder that there is no reply. I will also stop giving any suggestions to eBay from now.

There is no meaning of wasting our time on community board. Its harsh to say so but unfortunately true.

Policy clearly says:

Members are permitted to include one link to a page that further describes the item being sold in that listing.

Nowhere does it say that this link cant be a video.

Can someone point me to the policy page that says "no videos"

Or is this just a verbal rule?

Hello,

           First no one from eBay will going to reply here as many of the important post are remain unresponded till date.

Many of my listings were pulled off when I added video to decribe the items as I do in eBay.com 

I am sure no one from eBay India can give a satisfactory reply as why videos are not allowed.

Lets hope for the best.
