Who is permitting delivery date changes?

29769527351 that is my order number.I was supposed to get the item by 29th Aug 2011.I see a request today to extend it till 31st Aug 2011 - asking me to accept/reject.I did neither, as before i could do anything I see another message "Item shipped by blue dart .....AWB no.....to be delivered by 4th Sept 2011.I have not allowed any change in delivery schedule, as I will be out of country 30th Aug 2011 on.Though I called and spoke to seller of the same.But why such updates are given without my consent is my concern?Please reply

Hi,

There are two timelines.

1) One to ship the item which is maximum 7 days after making payment.

This is the timeline which the seller has asked you to extend.

2) The second timeline is the time for delivery after shipment for which a time period of maximum 10 days is allowed. Since the Seller has shipped on 24/08, the maximum time period allowed for delivery before which a claim for refund can be initiated is 04/09.

However since the product has been shipped in 24/08 by BlueDart courier, you can expect delivery within next 1-2 days much before you your need.
