WHY NONPAYING BUYERS ARE ALLOWED TO LEAVE FEEDBACK FOR SELLERS

Hi,

i wish TO know why non paying buyers are allowed to leave feedback for seller ?
EBAY FEEDBACK SHOULD BE ONLY FOR BUYERS WHO PAID AND RECEIVE MERCHANDISE NOT FOR THEM WHO DON'T PAY AND DO NOT RECEIVE ANY ITEMS.

once buyer bid on several items then one day all of a sudden they send a mail to mutually cancel the purchases and when sellers don't do this and file unpaid item strikes

THESE BUYERS LEAVE BAD FEEDBACK OR EXTORT SELLER THAT THEY WILL BE LEAVING BAD FEEDBACK

why is this promoted on ebay

WHEN A SELLER FILES UPI AND GETS FINAL VALUE FEE CREDIT BUYER WHO DID NOT PAID FOR THE TRANSACTION SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE FEEDBACK FOR THE SELLER OR IN CASE HE ALREADY LEFT FEEDBACK THAT SHOULD ALSO BE REMOVED FROM SELLER PROFILE.

THIS WILL REALLY HELP SELLERS A LOT

When buyers run away without paying, and if no reply after several reminders to buyers sellers to file UPI.Case is closed after giving UPS to Buyers. Ebay do not provide any option to leave negative feed back on runaway without paying buyer after winning. I lost so much of amount due to unpaid buyers. Ebay may consider to provide some option to leave negative feed back on buyers who left without paying. esun747-ebaystar747@gmail.com

I have been experiencing the same thing. Twostep30 had bid my item and then threatened that if I was to attempt to collect payment he would go to ebay and also would enter a Paypal dispute if he did. He left me bad feedack as he has done to other sellers NEVER PAYING FOR THE ITEM. I have tried to have this removed ut ebay is doing nothing. I have been a loyal customer for many years and HAD 100% feedback prior to this. Aren't the new policies unfair enough without adding this insult to injury?????????????????? How do I fight this injustice?

Hi,
It is sure that now a days(after the removal of negative feed back syatem to buyers)some buyers are simply trying to bargain with their feed back.They are asking more than what they axually deserves,threatening with thier negative feed back!reasently one buyer who purchased a rechargable light coast only Rs.240/-after paying that amount she/he began to threaten/harassing me and insisting me to send a high quality branded one which coast Rs.1400-1800/-telling that she expects a branded one like Panasonic by her/his Rs.240/-!!she threaten me with the negative feed back and finally given me nutral one..such buyers with cheating mentality should be removed from the ebay community.
In forgin countries this feed back system will work as the mentality of people is entirely deferent.but here buyers are taking extra advantage with this feed back system.
At least facility for leaving the Nutral feed back to the buyers should be there inorder to post the comment about them.otherwise someother alternatives have to find out.
Otherwise sellers are going to suffer a lot in future because this is our country.

Indian mentality takes time to change.

When I deliver the materials to buyer through reputed couriers, about 6 buyers on receipt the parcel, after two or three hours, they contacted me overphone that they received empty box. Due to their harrassment,I am forced to send same material to them by another couriers.They become silent. Thus I lost about Rs 16,345/- To find an alternative method of dispatching, I use to send materials through Speed Post and informed the buyers promptly. Lastly two buyers immediately after receipt of the materials, sy speed post, phoned me that they received empty packing and harassed me by sending lot of sms and phone calls with abusing words. I was worried so much and finally I purchased the items and sent to them by the same speed post. They remain silent. At last, I lost about 21000/ and odd in this business. Hence I ran away from this business. One buyer after bidding is over, negotiated me for 25% discount. After a lone harassment by the buyer, I told him that I shall send materials equivalent for that value. As promised I sent. After receiving all materials buyer requested me to send one moe card reader and earphone. When I refused he left negative feedback. I feel shame of such buyers. Sky is he limit for their greedyness. God only save sellers from these type of greedy/culprit buyers. Will Ebay find any solution to save sellers from such type of buyers by providing some useful guidelines. I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT EBAY, THAT ESTABLISHED THE FEEDBACK SYSTEM TO BE FAIR, THEN LET'S SOMEONE WHO SQUELCHES ON A "LEGAL"SALE DESTROY A SELLERS REPUTATION AND REDUCE THIER INCOME. THIS IS OF COURSE IN ADDITION TO THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE DISTORTED IT COMPLETELY BY NOT ALLOWING SELLERS TO REACT TO THE WAY THEY WERE TREATED. SELLERS HAVE ALWAYS HAD TO WALK ON GLASS WHY SHOULD BUYERS NOT HAVE TO EXCERCISE GOOD BEHAVIOR ALSO ANY LONGER PERPETUATING FRAUD? I GUESS THE BILL I GET EVERY MONTH TO PAY THEIR SALERIES IS NOT ENOUGH? DUGH. DOES IT NOT OCCUR TO ANYONE IN THEIR FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT THAT THEY ARE LOOSING MONEY FROM THIS ALSO?? UNDERMINING TRUST AND EQUALITY IN THE EXPERIENCE. WHO IS SITTING UP THERE TOO EGOTISTICAL AND GREEDY TO ADMIT WHEN THEY HAVE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE. DO THEY REALLY WANT TO DRIVE AWAY THE VERY PEOPLE THAT BUILT THEIR BUSINESS BEING THE SMALL METICULOUS CONSIENTIOUS ANTIQUE DEALER. DUGH! THEY MUST IN THEIR PAYPAL ENDEVOURS FIND IT TO BE MORE COST EFFECTIVE THAN A CHARGEBACK, BUT REALLY.......FINE SO ROB ME OF MY INCOME BUT THEN DON'T THROW SALT IN THE WOUNDS BY ALLOWING THEM THE POWER TO COMMENT. FOR GOD'S SAKE THEY NEVER PAID AND NEVER EVEN RECIEVED IT AND HAVE DONE THE SAME TO OTHERS!!!! I, LIKE MANY OTHERS COME HERE TO LOOK AT COLLECTIBLES AND THEN PICK UP A VACUUM CLEANER BAG ALONG THE WAY. I CAN GO ANYWHERE FOR THAT BUT HAVE IN THE PAST GIVEN MY BUSINESS TO PAYPAL AND EBAY. TIMES ARE CHANGING! I CANNOT STAND SITTING HERE WONDERING IF I WILL EVER BE PAID FOR MY HARD WORK AT THE END OF A SALE KNOWING THAT THEY CAN JUST STICK ME AND I HAVE TO SIT AROUND WAITING A WEEK. WHAT ABOUT MY LIVING??????
