I am unable to redeem my Diwali Dhamaka Free Gift, & have been getting the error message " Oops, sorry, you are not eligible for this promotion."
I have tried this today also after 6 pm, but the same error message is being shown & I am unable to proceed further.
I would request you to please do the needful, so that I may receive the entitled gift assured by the Ebay.

I have already sent out multiple mails to Customer support but no reply for any of them. I am not sure what ebay is intending with this unprofessional attitude.
Kindly if some customer service representative is reading this post, assist with the problem.

I too have made a purchase on 14th Nov 2012 [261127424449] of about 23250/-. Now when i try to redeem the offer it's showing Ooops message. I have already mailed to the customer support, but i didn't get any reply. Then I called the customer support and that guy told me that the mail has already forwared to the promo team amd gave a ref #. It's 2-days now no respond.
Is this the way e-bay serve customer.
Usually sellers say 'CUSTOMER IS GOD', but it seems ebay thing 'CUSTOMER IS D..'
Can I expect a solution?

Even after trying numerous times to redeem the assured DIWALI GIFT, I have not been able to do so, due to the error message, mentioned in my previous mails.
I am feeling cheated by the Ebay, though I have been a sincere Ebay customer for the last 7 years, & have bought more than 50 items so far, but now it seems to me to start patronizing other internet portals for my requirements & purchase.
As a token of protest, I will not buy through Ebay any more, till the problem is solved, & the assured gift is delivered to me.

They are not responding to emails as well. We are not a sue happy society and they know that.
But eBay seriously needs to be taken to court and compensation asked for each and every member who has been treated in such an unfair, disrespectful and nonchalant manner

The customer support website had this message that customers should try after 6 pm today. This message was on their website for one whole week and now it is not there.
The customer care does not provide any escalation matrix nor any facility to take our case to their superiors. They only keep assuring that the problem will be resolved in 24 hours. Even today I called up customer care and the phone disconnected so I had a chat with Manisha C, chat agent on ebay. Again I am told that my problem is escalated and will be resolved in 24 hours, this is the same answer ebay has been giving me since November 26, 2012, and I have lost count of the number of 24 hours that have elapsed since I first contacted customer care.
My take on this is as follows:
1. As a customer, I followed ebay's process of buying and applying the diwali dhamaka code, then why do I need to go through all these issues?
2. Why cant customer care provide the escalation matrix? What is so secretive about it?
3. Whatever technica issue there is, is from ebay's side. As a customer, why should I have to go through the trouble and inconvenience of first buying, then reporting issues, then following up, and yet bear the complacent behaviour of ebay of not even responding to my emails?
4. Ebay's email policy states that response will be received in maximum 72 hours, yet I have had no response for over a week now.
I am going to now lodge a complaint in the national consumer forum. Their web url is http://Core.nic.in
I think ebay has taken customers for granted for too long. It is time they learnt that they are thriving and flourishing because of customes and that they cannot take customers for granted anymore.
