I bought a netbook worth 18600 and disnt get the Diwali gift. The scheme, the Cust Care professional wrote to me, runs from 16/09/09 to 17/10/09. I bought the item on 18/09/09 and made the payment on 21/09/09. Will we ever get the DESERVED gifts? If anyone gets, please acknowledge, so that we can help each other.

I applied successfully for Diwali gifts at the time of purchase.But gifts were not sent although main items have beem received.

I have been cheated by ebay, please BEWARE!!!.
I bought a Samsung Full HD 22" LCD Monitor + TV Combo Speakers 04/10/09 on buy it now for Rs11799/-. I made the payment on 04/10/09. I was eligible for the Diwali gift which i wanted Black & Decker Coffee Maker Gift Code: 09DIWALI10
has been announced on home page worth around Rs3500/-. Somehow, during payment at paisapay, the window didnt open, hence I missed the deserved gift. When I wrote to the customer care, quoting their replies that the Diwali Gift scheme in fact ran from 05th october 2009 till 13th October 2009, they gave vague answers, the meaning of which obviously was that they(ebay) dont care to give away the Diwali gift to me. now they say that they apologize for the miscommunication Dont you think its just to lure & cheat us. what say?
Previously I lost money by paying through paisapay & i din recieve the item evn i din got my money back still waiting. now a days ebay is becoming fraud site hence closing my account permanently. enough is enough.

Well we all stand duped by ebay to this day unless we receive the diwali gifts so grandly publicized by ebay. I bought a lens worth 21 K and opted for a DVD player but so far there has not been a squeak from Ebay. Come on ebay atleast have the courtesy to inform us if you have over committed yourself and cant deliver. Just as much i dont trust the EMI option on ebay. I wonder if i should take this matter to the consumer courts.

I have completed the Payment with paisa pay without getting any option from gifts. At first I thought that Diwali gift are only on some selected items ,seeing here it seems that my case is similar to some above.
Currently I have switched to ebay from another shopping site.But seeing plights of customers above it seems that condition anywhere else is no different.

Just contacted the customer care.They said items will be shipped within 45 days of the payment made. I ll keep my finger crossed.

I purchased a Nikon L20 , opted for a Airtel Digital TV connection ... nothing delivered and no news from ebay side regarding the free gift..

guys..... u need to enter the code for the diwali gift during payment of item in the same page (no window opens ?: )|.... those who have missed entering the CODE may not redeem for the gift.... but am not sure for that......

And for those who have entered the CODE, should wait for 45 days I guess. After that can question them if the gifts offered are true or not..... And mostly they clearly mentioned that the gifts will be sent only to their REGISTERED ADDRESS only.... so watchout for ur address....
