How to participate?
- Spot the eBay ad on TV
- Note down the time, date and the TV channel

Contest Period: The contest is open from 18th Dec ’09 – 5th Jan ‘10
Number of Prizes: Everyday 3 prizes will be given out
To be eligible for prize: you will need to post the date, time and the channel on which you saw the ad
Prize Limit: One User id will be eligible for not more than 3 discount vouchers during the contest period.
Announcement of Winners: Winners will be announced every Tuesday & Friday.

Hello,

I have seent the ad again just now on 27-dec 09 8.17PM on sony entertainment television.

Frankly speaking i did not like the ad.

In one ad a girl asks for a boyfriend and they refer ebay. ebay is not a dating site.

In another one someone ask for a dog and the host says to go on ebay.

It looks very unprofessional between other ads. It looks like you are trying to force someone to go to ebay. You should not force, you should attract customers. It also looks like you get boyfriend and dogs on ebay.

I had seen a ebay ad long back where someone buys a home and decorates it with buying A TO Z stuff on ebay. That was professional and decent. And that is what buying on ebay really means.

Hope you change the ads.

Rather than asking community member when they saw the ads you can ask the members about various ad ideas. After getting the ideas you can select the best ad idea and give the winner a good gift.

You can have lakhs of ideas from the community members.

Hello ebay India. I Got two Vouchers, one 10% off and another 5% off from you as a winner.

But this is not what i expected from you. I expected at least a flat off Voucher or some free-things shown on the main page.

I hope you can understand because we are members, not outsiders whom you will give greed to buy something before a stipulated time (By the Way the last date to purchase from those coupons is 31st December!!! Unbelievable...)

The second complain (Better we can call it a suggestion)from ebay is that there is no Punctuality at your end. We people were waiting for announcement of winners, yet this thread looks like a dead thread where no Officer is there to respond to anybody.

Hope i am clear enough to be understood.
