While fixing the max shipping charges, the following should be kept in view:

(i) The national shipping cost charged under Powership for 500 gms and 1000 gms weight category.  For Paisapay ID 35632508049 (weight less than 500 gms), I was charged Rs. 62.50 under Powership)

(ii) For areas which are not covered under Powership, the sellers have to pay high shipping cost.  This aspect should also be kept in view while fixing max shipping cost at all India level.

Shipping cost amounts to 150-180 for sarees. How can we charge 50/- for that?

Its for clothing and accessories as per the announcement, them why am i facing that shipping limit in my listings that comes under Auto accessories and that too in helmets? As for helmets courier companies charge volumetric weights so its always greater and comes around Rs 160-170. How i can bear such a huge difference? Reply in urgent.

For heavy salwars like Anarkali's shipping charges were around 100 - 150Rs.

and how can we charge as less as Rs.55??

that is not possble because i only post my item in india speed post.. and charge minimum is 100 to 200..

This is not a reasonable shipping policy that amended by ebay. It will work only with power sellers. The non power sellers have to pay 150 to 250 as shipping cost to the reputed couriers. Its just ridiculous! !!

This is a ridiculous policy. To cover the loss by charging less shipping charge I would need to increase my selling price. In return buyers will find the item expensive and probably won't buy.

This would be a loss situation for me as a seller and for ebay as my sales would get impacted.
