Seller Protection ?

We recently sold an item to an ebayer. It was a low cost item. Since we were trying to test the market, we priced it competitively.

The item was rejected by the buyer. It was shipped by DTDC however, the buyer address was in-correct and the phone not reachable.

Now ebay says the amount will be refunded. I believe the step was taken by some competitors since our product was priced very competitively. This could be done time and again. Is there any protection ? If ebay continues to do it this way, I shall start similar steps to affect business from other sellers since when I contacted Rajat on ebay customer support I was told this is part and parcel of business.

I know now what to do unless ebay starts some seller protection policies in cases where sellers are genuine and buyers are rogues.

Please advice,

Seller Protection ?

Hi

Why you sold with Competitive price then? If you know that this things are happening then why you selling it without getting sufficient margin. We are here for selling not for competition. So I will suggest please do not make this place as Competition space.

Thanks

This guy came with a problem and you big sellers are finding fault at his end because he priced the product competitively. I dont understand this. This happens in the market everyday. A new company comes around and the only way to get noticed in the market for them is to price their products competitively. This is the market and this is business, sellers have to deal with it. Ofcourse the established players wouldn't like it bcoz it would start taking a bit of their market share.
