I'm new to ebay. I want to start selling loose Gemstones and Diamonds in international market through ebay.
I just received my Importer Exporter Code (IEC)
1) I came to know that RCMC is also required to export gems. I then tried to fill up the application for RCMC with GJEPC (Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council)but stuck at the point that we need to have Proposer (means a reference who is already registered with GJEPC with his RCMC not less than 3 year old) I'm from mumbai and my supplier of the gemstones is dealing in local market only and is also not helping me getting another reference who has RCMC.
Is there any one who could help me to get my RCMC by signing as proposer?
2) Also I want to know from existing Gem & Diamond exporters that, what additional documents they needed to keep handy at the time of taking orders? Could any gemstone exporter himself guide me through all this processing step by step (that is from taking orders through ebay till shipping to buyer's doorstep including customs clearance and which is the best service for shipping etc.)?
