I bought a phone on Feb 11th from Sreeni11 for 10,250.00. I found it diffecitve and contacted the seller with a week. He said he would get the bill. After few days, he said he didn't have the bill. After few days he hasn't been responding to my messages, mails or calls.
I contacted the e-bay, they say it's too late to contact them. But I contected the seller well before! This is ridicules!
It's not working at all now. I am lost!
Is there any way I can proceed with?
Please help me, if anyone can.
I will file a IPC 420 cheating case, on the seller after all this.

Have you tried opening case against seller from Resolution Centre? Alternatively you can send mail to ebay trust & safety team on inrswebhelp@ebay.com. Hope that should work.
All the very best!

The reason I contacted the seller first was, not to create a negative impact on his selling profile. I thought for his good and in reverse I am suffering.
I kept everything ready to file a police case. This is really worst experience for me.
I purchased nearly 50,000 till now from e-bay but they don't treat me as a good customer and willing to help. That is why I stopped buying from this site.

anyway, i agree with mr.raj....eBay is still a 'buyer-beware' type of place so you have the check out credibility of the seller and most important to read the entire product description before buying. and the minute you smell something fishy, take action. it is seller who should anyway be concerned about his profile! -- Signature: I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

He doen't have the bill. He listed it as New.
When I called him in a weeks time, he first told me that he would send the warrenty and bill, but it wouldn't work in india as the phone was from Dubai.
when I went to sony showroom and found that the warrenty would work all over the world.
again I contacted the seller and that time he said that he doesn't the warrent and he has only the bill.
again I asked him to send the bill, he said it was only a sales invoice.
That was the way he made me to wait till the 45 days time over. By the time I realize the trap, everything was over and I have no chance to do.
But I'm still wondering, why e-bay doesn't listen to me that I contacted the seller within a week. 😞

I little bit disagree with you here... I made it very sure, at least when I bought high value items, that I buy it from a seller crowned as "PowerSeller". Still I was bluffed by a PowerSeller in my recent purchase of mobile phone! I would agree with Rajesh here about what he has mentioned they take disadvantage of our goodness...
Buyers have to rely on what sellers describe in listing and if they dont describe reality, buyers will have to suffer.
In this case, Rajesh can very much approach the manufaturer and get repairs done for free, but why should he if the item is not as described? or say if item is of inferior quality? ebay in this case should support him which I feel they are not!!!
I dont know what Rajesh's case is here but I got an item which was well described but quality wise was not worth it! Dont you think so that I (or say any other buyer facing such situation) deserve a refund and no replacment? I bought an item which was described as 5 star but in reality only 1 or 2 star!!!
From your many replies in this forum, I feel you are a genuine seller (at least a nice hearted person) but not all are like that (neither all buyres are genuine!).
I am not fighting but trying to expalin my view point on your reply; no bad feelings plz...

No need of bill for replacement. Directly go to the service center to get product replacement. You will get warranty by serial number of product.
