I have received the subject item on 10th but rather disappointed to draw your kind attention to the following disfunctioning of new 256 MB MP3 Player received from your end :-

1. Although it is a new 256 MB MP3 Player but only 30 songs have been recorded covering 123 MB space but rather surprised to see that no songs or any word/excel file has been copied in the vacant 123 MB space. It is very much unfortunate that such things have been happening in a new 256 MB MP3 Player which is only two days old and no recording/copying has been taken place even if there is enough vacant space of 123 MB. I do not understand what is the reasons behind such malfunctioning in a newly purchased 256 MB MP3 Player.

2. The other interesting fact of this MP 3 Player is that nothing has been heard in FM Mode. When FM mode is on it showed scanning of FM centre but after that nothing has been functioning as FM Radio. This is a rather peculiar situation as no FM function is running in a newly purchased MP3 Player. This is also quite embarrassing and disgusting for any people that after paying advance payment the customer has got a totally defective item. I believe, this is not acceptable to any customer even for you.

3. Please also note that switches are not functioning effectively. Sometimes it is working smoothly and sometimes not.

I believe, I received a defective new item due to the fact that any 256 MB MP3 Player generally records minimum 60 to 65 songs whereas in my newly purchased item only 30 songs have been recorded/copied and in the showing vacant space of 132 MB nothing has been copied/recorded after tried several time.

In view of the foreging I am requesting you to kindly replace this newly purchased 256 MB MP 3 Player with a good new 256 MB MP3 Player after thorough checking and satisfying at your end that all functions are working normally.

Kindly confirm so that I can send my newly purchased 256 MB MP3 Player through courier on my own and in turn you will send a defectfree 256 MB MP3 Player with all switches functioning normally by courier on your own.

I shall look forward to your reply on priority.

Open a dispute and wait ffor response.

Dear Mr Kar

This is a common problem with some sellers selling MP3/MP4 Player which do not have genuine memory chip like the one you purchased. The actual memory is only 128 MB but it is inflated to 256MB through compression software. So it will retain only 128 MB. Please contact the seller and ask him to replace the item. Also in future make sure you buy item from a reputed seller with bill and warranty..regards =============

Hi,

As said by Mr.Ajay, Regarding Mp3 players I have seen many complaints at boards (not only at eBay, I visit some other forums also).

These products are from China and low quality ones.

The best possible is contact your seller over phone and ask him to refund the amount. You may loose some money (shipping / insurance charges).

If the seller doesn't agree, open a Item not as per description Dispute and get the refund from eBay.

Don't leave feedback until the transaction closes. ---------------

Hi,

These Chinese products are spoiling the Indian market with low quality products and false promises. People are suffering for them. I think eBay should make it mandatory to mention in the description the name & location of the manufacturer for all labelled products, especially electrical / electronics goods and toys. .
