I wanted to bring to your attention two important things for relisting items that dont sell.
1) Whenever i try to relist half of the items are not relisted and it always says system error pls go back and reselect.
2) Relisting doesnt offer the advantage of scheduling the items when we do bulk relisting. Please incorporate this feature.
Any sellers facing similar concerns can voice their opinion to ebay. Thanks!!

I am also facing the same relisting error from last month. This error is faced when I try to relist item in bulk.
My account manager Seema ji is giving me full support by escalating the problem to technical department but till today they not able to rectify this error.
Also Seema ji told me that according to technical department no other seller(s) are facing any such issue, but now I think they will have to consider our case seriously as this is indeed a serious problem as we can not waste much time in relisting single item one by one.

Deep Agarwal.

in fact in an auction if item is sold and buyer did not pay, you file UPI and get FVF, then if you relist the same item, you are eligible to get credit for insert fees. This is as per ebay policy. But ebay wants us to remember the old item number and new item number after relisting it to get the insert fees credit , that too manually after writing them email for each such instance. I had more thant 250 such cases , which ebay did not give credit in months of oct nov dec 2007 & jan 2008. There after I did not bother them and reduced my listings ! Ebay expects us to remember all clutter work and give them ready made cake to give us our fees back.

yes there is tha policy which clearly mentions. ebay shys away with the excuse of give new item numbers for old relisted items. hence we need to give them the old item numbers and corresponding new item numbers then they will give us credit.
the policy url:
http://pages.ebay.in/help/sell/insertion-fee-credit.html
it clearly says this:
If your original listing resulted in an Unpaid Item, make sure that you filed an Unpaid Item dispute for the original listing and requested a full Final Value Fee credit for that listing. This credit must be posted to your account before you can receive the Listing Fee credit.
many times I feel that we know more policies of ebay than the pinks themselves ๐
the customer care who responded me did not know this and finally with many emails exchanged he gave me a time consuming solution(or not practical) of find new item numbers for old items relisted.
I finally gave up.

As far as i know
The relisted item has to sell when relisted.
The insertion fee is not credited immediately , But Credited if the item sells the second time when relisted.
Further you can't use Turbo lister , but relist from the item page itself .
Also note the relisted item's price can't be increased , Neither can the duration of the auction Or its format be changed.
In short the item has to be relisted in same format and same price or lower.
By the way this is not only for non completed sale but also for any item that does not sell , you do get a second chance.
I have used this on international site and am sure the fee gets refunded automatically if the item sells , But still
since you say .. i guess we need to check this out
Thanks for the enlightment :)
