With the introduction of 250 gms slab, most of the powership shipments are assigned to Blue Dart as compared to Fedex earlier. This is probably because Fedex does not offer 250 Gms slab. However there is a small issue. When a customer orders more than one item together, then even when paisapay ID is same, the parcels below Rs. 500 are allocated to Blue dart and above 500 Gms to Fedex. This means seller cannot combine shipment and he has to send the items separately. This is not convenient for seller. Even buyers get confused when one parcel is deliverd before the other and it does not contain all the items he has ordered. Seller looses combined shipping benefit and it also increases the paperwork for the seller. I suggest that the total value of the order should be considered before allotting the courier. If the total value of all the items ordered is more than Rs. 500, then it should be treated as such and individual values should be ignored. Either allot all to Blue dart or to Fedex. But do not divide it. Hope this bug will be sorted out soon by the powership team.
