Power seller cheated the buyers

Ebay power seller Gift to Gift has collected money from buyers and not despatched the goods. I purchased one item and paid Rs.105.00 including postage now ebay is telling it cannot protect my rights since item cost (less postage) is below Rs.50. If ebay cannot ensure athenticity of the seller before awarding Power Seller tag to him better u stop this business.

As a powerseller I can assure that this was not done intentionally by Gift to Gift. There may be some miscommunication. You better to approach the seller directly.
No seller can cheat a buyer with such small amount.

You are absolutely right that this seller "Gifts2Gifts" is cheating the buyers like you & me using platform of ebay under different IDs. I am also his victim. The ebay people are worthless in solving the problem of Genuine buyers like you & me. Moreover this is the only seller who rated me negative also after receiving the payment as well as the item itself. I am totally agreed with you for which you can read my feedback dated 04/07/2005 in the same board & I am reproducing it again for your ready reference & sorry to inform you that PLEASE don't expect help from ebay people, They are better than WORST in serving & solving problems of Genuine buyers who are having 100% positive feedback from different sellers. For your information, this seller under different IDs is being suspended these days, but I will not be surprised if one day I see him doing buisness at ebay again.

I need a reply from you.

P.S. The post of 4th july is reproduced below of which no solution has made so far. I lost Rs 200/ in cash as well as several times telephonic conversation with the Seller Mr Rafique. Pl don't waste your time & money.

I am taking this last opportunity to tell my problem.

I purchased an item FOLDING LAMP by Gifts2Gift (4380143487) from "Gifts2Gifts Health". I paid Rs 135/ through ATM drop Box mode. Seller send me a broken piece although charged for insurance also.I talked with him on phone. He told me to return back for replacement. I again spent Rs 66/ for courier charges for sending it back. The Seller didn't send the item. I rated him NEGATIVE, in respose he also rated me negative without delay. He said that he didn't receive the item in his feedback. A dispute in this regard is open, but Seller is not responding. This seller is no longer listed on ebay but its sister concerns like"Gifts2Gifts Auction" & "Gifts2Gifts Auto" still exist on ebay. My total Rs 200/ have been totally wasted. When continuing on ebay for dispute resolution, you say that the item cost is below Re 50/ & you can't do anything.
Now the question is what is the advantage to buy an item at ebay when I lost Rs 200/ for a wothless deal. I spent Rs 200/ but there is nothing in my hand except the Seller's bill & courier's POD, which I have sent.
Look Gentleman, such type of harrassment is neither fruitful for ebay nor for a genuine buyer like me.He is the only seller who rated me negative when in past I purchased several things from M/s Gifts2Gifts & other sellers on ebay & all of them found me a genuine buyer & rated me positive. I am still spending my money & time for this unfruitful deal so that you people may intervene & some concrete solution of this internet trading problem may occur.
Otherwise I will say to people that go to your nearby market for shopping & don't opy this mode of trading.

It is also reflected that it seems all rules are made for buyers only. You don't be delayed if by any mistake or problem buyer is delayed in making payments. You are always ready with the RED FLAG to show him the ALERT or STRIKE.
