It is really very very irritating that using debit card for payment is futile as one of the most widely spread banks in India, the Indian Overseas Bank, is not listed among the banks whose debit cards are accepted. Instead comparatively unknown banks like Karur Vysya Bank, Lakshmi Vilas Bank ( I have never heard of these creatures) etc. are listed. Also there is no provision for COD (Cash On Delivery) which every self-respecting online shop in India has adopted long ago. ebay is losing its marbles.
