Paymnt made bt seller no more registered -Edreammedia

Hi there,

I made a payment of Rs.2050 towards item no.16435531710
on 22nd Feb'06 & after couple of days I was surprised to see the seller as " no longer registered with E-bay".

I have written 3 mails to the customer care & to the seller but till date have not received any satisfactory replies.

I want to know how can i recover my money.

I am thinking in terms of registring an FIR & to move to consumer court against E-bay and the seller in case I dont get my money back or the item is not shipped to me.

Correction. The item no. is 5867216474 & not the one mentioned above.The payment was made thru paisa pay

Hi,
A seller can get de-registered for various reasons other than fraud. I have recd items from suspended sellers a couple of times. So, if the seller cooperates with you then give him / her some time. If he does not care to answer within 4-5 days then you can file an item not recd dispute. On closing of the dispute you are likely to get a refund for 1750/- for this case. Best Regards 😄

eBay's Standard Purchase Protection Program reimburses buyers for eligible transactions where an item was purchased on eBay and either not received or was received but significantly not as described.

actually...according to a consumer court activist...action can be taken against ebay directly..... know why..?? if u see the payments made thru paisa pay..ebay collects the same on behalf of the seller... so ebay acts asa agent on behalf og the seller for colelction of funds from the buyer... apart from the contract act and law of agency, the consumer Protection Act can also be invoked...since in the bank statement, the name of ebay India Pvt Ltd. appears as the part to whom the payment is made and not to the seller.! so its ebay's duty to ensure that the goods are delivered...and in case goods are not delivered ebay is supposed to take legal action...

I do hope I get my shipment..as of now theres no signs of it & the seller is not responding to the mails..
