PaisaPay Fee Revision! 4% is too high!

Hi All,

The PaisaPay fee (which has revised to 4%) is too high.

Making Online Bank Transfer from 2% (inclusive of taxes) to 4% + Taxes as applicable is certainly makes expensive for
sellers.

PaisaPay team should charge for buyers. The prices will be hiked by all the sellers and thus this will result to less sales as compared to the local market (main target will be high value products).

I am feeling that seller will become a total bakara (Listing Fee, FVF, PaisaPay Fee with no sales).

PaisaPay has removed the service of UTI NetBanking, They are not even interested in adding more payment gateways. ---------------

Hello Ebay,

I totally agree with SNRAMA. Local markets are so competitive these days. Paying 4% is way out of reach of sellers.

I request all sellers to participate and give feedback to ebay regarding this.

Only chance of making profits now would be to buy in bulk else we will not be able to compete with local market. This is ok for someone doing Ebay full time, but i believe majority of Sellers are part time who have Ebay as their side business who will find it difficult to source products at cheaper rates just to pay it to ebay.

5% FVF + 4.5% Paisapy fee = 9.9% commision just to Ebay. Does ebay have any idea how much buyers would be making. Do they think our profits are 20% so as to take away 10% from us. At times due to market competitiveness we make only 5% on deals.

Request Ebay to please consider this revision.

PaisaPay Fee Revision! 4% is too high!

Hi all,

its too high !!!

4.5% is too high compare to service offer by Paisapay , delay payment , no instant payment option , EMI option is too complicated , only few bank support , no addition of new services from last 2 years.

Due to hike our sales price will go up,in todays competitive online market it will be costly for buyer, specially high price item will affect, already other online portals are taking ebays business by way of offering only 5% as gateway + commission charges .

the 10% apx payout from product is too heavy , even our offline market is not earning such good % .

i know that it will affect our online sales which is now 30% of our total sales.

i hope ebay will think again .

Yeah 4% for CC payments is OK.

But for OBT PaisaPay was known for better rates. They should atleast consider that. I agree that providing this service is not easy and PaisaPay is a good facility ... Also eBay PaisaPay is the fastest mode of payment compared to other shopping sites...

Todayโ€™s both the announcements are mistakes which eBay is doing. 10+% of our sales are eaten away by eBay. If we increase our margin by 20% to give 10% to eBay, no buyer will find online shopping cheaper compared to local market. End of the day this burden is passed to buyers, so ultimate results are increase in prices for the buyers and reduction of sales for eBay & sellers!

Dear eBay Team,

4% is too much, because already i am paying more than 10% fees to ebay, including listing fees etc. And the dangerous part is PaisaPay also charges us for the shipping cost received as well, that's too much for a small scale sellers. We know PaisaPay is doing good service. But i don't use many facilities offered, frankly. I never called PaisaPay in 1 year and 8 months doing business. All i need is if payment is cleared from PaisaPay, i ship the item.

Probably new support facility is useful only for buyers, if they have some approval required after payment they have made, then they call and inquire them why still payment is not cleared like that. For sellers, if you say payment is cleared we ship the item. Otherwise we contact only to refund some discount, excess shipping charge payment etc, we do it via email.

I kindly request charge the 2% extra from customer, not from us. Because Sellers are not benefited from the new support.

We are forced to increase price of our products by 5% and people will find that in local market for cheaper than in eBay. It is going to affect sales & sellers.

Please reconsider the new fee revision 4%.

Kind regards,
CoolBrasCo.

PaisaPay Fee Revision! 4% is too high!

This is too much.
I think ebay is going stricter and stricter day by day to sellers.
It is going to be very costly to sellers like me who are selling high value items.

Ek Saath itne Jhatke ?? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

What the hell is ebay upto ?X-( First of all the change in Power Seller Criteria and now this hike ?

Also, as some others have said, charging some fee from the buyers, I do not agree !

Indian Buyers would hardly agree on paying the Fee, they would then prefer to buy offline.

And no point addressing the thread to ebay Pinks and calling them here, coz they have their sufficient reasons for the changes. They would only speak their minds so I am only awaiting to hear from other fellow members.

Meenu

Dear Meenu,

I am not worried about the 0.5% hike on credit cards. But am upset of Online Transfer which they have increased from 2% (including tax) to 4% (excluding tax).

It will be approx 4.3% which is quite high.

Sellers couldn't survive with such a high fee after paying Listing Fee, FVF.

Sellers will increase the price and this will lead to less sales.

Sellers who sell low value products doesn't get harm much.. If the product price is 100, then PaisaPay fee will be Rs. 4.50/- (at max).. so it can be recovered by hiking the or the product value or handling charges.

For Seller who are selling high value items, Its difficult to survive.. Almost Rs.100/- will be paid as fee to eBay for a Rs.1000 product.. ---------------

PaisaPay Fee Revision! 4% is too high!

Hi all,

What the hell is eBay doing. One after another stroke to wipe off genuine sellers from eBay? The hike in PaisaPay fee is toooo much, even it has crossed the PayPal fees.

Are the eBay buyers fool to pay more than 10% of the price for the item what they will get next to their doorstep? Hike in PaisaPay fee means hike in price of the items that means LOW SALE. It is upto eBay to decide now.
