I am mainly selling loose gemstones on eBay.
While going through eBay website, I found some sellers who had copied my images and using the same images for selling their own items.
The sellers include Powerseller with hundreds of feedback as well as New Seller with less then 10 Feedback.
I already contact the new seller and asked him to close down the listing with my images,I hope to get a positive response from him. Or else the seller will be reported to eBay for appropriate action.
But I wonder what to do about sellers with hundreds feedback and he is powerseller as well.
I will not take the name of the sellers but if needed I can provide every possible proof about the image stealing.
I do understand that Watermarking our images is good way to avoid image copying but at the same time, When we watermark our images, some details get hide and picture look less attractive.
Also eBay should have a link where such sellers can be reported, Reporting single items is very time consuming..
