I am Kashyap Vadapalli, Director – Marketing & Business Development. I invite you to join me for an Open House discussion on eBay Marketing initiatives.
At eBay, the key task for my team is to ensure that we showcase the Lots of Safe, Easy, Deals available on eBay to our buyers. I am happy to be on the boards. We are excited about the steps we are taking for driving visitors and buyers to ebay. We are coming up with a 360-degree plan to talk to our target audience at all relevant touch-points. We expect to move the needle significantly on various brand-metrics – like awareness, consideration and intent to purchase.

we are really glad that you are here with us!! well I have always been a big Fan and supporter of Ebay and I have always promoted ebay in my friend circle and family , but this time I am having a bitter experience with Ebay because of Diwali Gifts, well I appreciate your effort but this things are not fully successful if not done with in time as I have not received the diwali gift yet and its more that 45 days, and when ever we call your customer care we get the same reply that it has been forwarded to Marketing team and we have not received any input from them, please give us the email Id or contact number of your marketing team who handles all this stuff from where we can get a clear Idea.

Kashyap here, We expect to launch the campaign in phases starting the middle of this month. We will go in with a TV campaign - that will start in mid-Dec. In the TV campaign we are communicating the following key messages - Deals, Range and Trust. We have multiple executions each of which will specifiy a certain aspect mentioned above. During the course of this interaction I will also provide a link where the members can view an example of 2 of the TV commercials. Please note that I am uploading a very light file (low-resolution video and audio) so the fidelity with which it will play on the computer will be very low compared to the broadcast quality tapes. Also note that the link will be live for about an hours after the session, after which we will take it down. This is a sneak-peek for the community members.(Video will be up shortly)
