Hi shamimhassan,

Lovely to see you back after a long time.

I personally love urdu shayari, and will like to understand the one mentioned by you.

I understood the first line, but wor ds 'nazak bayasar' dont hold much meaning for me. Please be kind enough to explain. If it is not flattering enough, you may choose to change the meaning though 🙂

Regards,
Sapana

Dear Sapna Gee,
The first line translates as fallow.
You can cut the heart of a diamond with the patel of a flower. (Diamond being the hardest substance known)
The second line translates as fallow,
Advice to a careless person has no effect.

The detailed explanation is that, the most immpossible tasks can be done and targets acheived, but to advice a careless person is of no avail.

Nazak....Delicate
Bayasar...No effect

Regards and best wishes.

Hi shamimhassan,

I had a feeling that the meaning would not be most flattering :-)...nevertheless...

aap ne farmaya hai to sar aakhon par hain.

BTW...when I was working with jewellery category in Baazee, I often used to see your name as a frequent buyer. I always used to wonder about your reason for buying jewellery from India. I was under the impression that jewellery is cheaper in your country. You may want to enlighten us better.

Cheers!

Dear Sapna Gee,

First of all I would like to inform you that the best jewelry is made in India. I am not an Indian but I still say that world class jewelry is only made in India. I have been to a number of countries around the globe (Europe & Asia)but no where I found jewelry like Indian jewelry. Hats off tho Indian craftsman.

Gold is now an international item, the price is more or less the same world over, the only difference is that the making charges in Saudi Arabia is 100 times higher than in India and hence the jewelry is cheaper in India.

I am mostly intrested in gem stones, and buy them from all over the world, latter I ask my jeweler to make custom jewelry for my wife.

Yes I used to buy jewelery, from India but than I had bitter experiences with eBay and the sellers, hence I stopped buying from eBay.

I hpoe that this answers you question. Pleas feel free to ask me anything that is on your mind.

With regards and best wishes
