This is Vijayanand from the PaisaPay Team. I and my team are responsible for ensuring that the PaisaPay facility serves your need in the best possible manner. I am also the part of the team which is working on the New PaisaPay.

With the New PaisaPay, I believe there are a lot of questions in your mind as a buyer and a seller on eBay. I will be here for an hour from 4 – 5 PM on Monday, 26th November to answer your questions regarding the New PaisaPay. Dear Vijayanand,
I am selling mainly gemstones in eBay from many years(from the time of Baazee.com) and not many courier accept gemstones and even if very few accept gemstones they do not have online tracking facility and POD from the courier are receive only after 30-45 days.

If eBay can tell me any such reputed courier who accept gemstones/jewelry and also can provide insurance for such high value items with prompt online tracking facility then I will be very thankful to eBay. Since you suggest to use reputed courier to send items, So that it may result into delightful buyer experience, You must also provide the solution of shipping the high value items like gemstones and jewelry.

Please note that sometime the parcels are delivered within 10 days but the POD are not available before 30-45 days and in some case the courier company are not able to provide POD, even if the buyer get the item.

Speed post is reliable and accepts gemstones and jewelry but it doesn’t provide perfect tracking details, Most of the parcel is just shown as booked but then no further information is provided their tracking website. Also the acknowledgment does not reach us half of the time even if we pay additional for it. But since no other courier (even the most reputed and expensive one) do not accept gemstones/jewelry, we are left with no option but to use Speed Post.

But when this new paisapay will come into force, some fraud buyer can take an advantage of such loop holes and claim their money back(even if he/she received the item).
The buyer then can enjoy with item as well as the money and seller will be helpless.
So, I am really not in position to take such a big risk.

I hope to receive a solution for this.

Hi Vijayanand,

I also have a question about digital delivery. What information should I provide in the dispatch details section. Should I provide an email address or the download link.

I have sent the same question to eBay support and I got a reply saying the Digital Products will no longer be accepted If I want to sell eBooks I will have to burn them on a CD and send them via courier and then give the details.

Please Clarify.

Dear ebizskills,

You will have to atleast wait till the time provided for Delievery and the time provided to buyer to confirm Item not received. OPtion for Buyer to confirm Item received opens immediately after seller inputs shipping details and the funds will be released to seller.

AS mentioned you use India Post's SpeedPost and it has online tracking system. In case of Refund claim from Buyer, as proof of Delivery, you can submit Proof of Dispatch along with the AWB no. (given for online tracking system) to Contest Buyer's refund claim to PaisaPay.

Thanks for posting in and welcome to today’s workshop. Based on our conversations with the sellers, we have some to know that the problem of delayed delivery is there for certain countries. In such instances where you feel that the courier will take more time then the default timelines of PaisaPay always ask for time extension from the buyer before shipping. Keep the buyer informed in case of delay in shipment, majority of the buyers are interested in item and not in refund. Also there is a feature where by the buyer can withdraw INR claim after submitting INR claim.

You may also encourage such buyers to use other popular modes of payments (since majority of such buyers prefer to use modes of payment they are more comfortable with).
Many sellers tell us that buyers from international countries are more accommodating. As you yourself mentioned you have never faced such problems with international buyers in last 2 years. I don’t foresee you facing many such instances in future as well. Nevertheless, in case you have any problems, please contact PaisaPay in such instances to help you resolve the issue.

Besides the option suggested to you of CD delivery, in case of ‘Digital delivery of Goods”, suggest that you select the ‘Others’ option from the drop down menu of shipment details and mention the necessary details in the remarks field.

Thanks for joining in today’s workshop. Response to your queries given below:
1. In case you feel the shipment is getting delayed, keep the buyer informed so that the buyer doesn’t immediately submit INR claim on first day itself. Secondly , PaisaPay has a feature by which buyer can withdraw INR claim after submitting INR claim.
2. In case the seller doesn’t want to ship and hence doesn’t ships and inputs shipping details, PaisaPay will trigger an auto refund to buyer after the time for inputting shipment details elapses.
3. No, eBay/ PaisaPay doesn’t have any logistics partner.

Thanks for joining in. The good thing about the courier service used by you is that they both provide online tracking in cases of proof of delivery. First of all, you will need the proof of delivery, only when the buyer raises a refund claim.
If he raises a refund claim, online tracking information along with proof of dispatch can be submitted as a proof to contest buyers INR claim. Wishing you a great evening ahead!

Dear Vijay,
Speed post doesn’t provide perfect tracking details,Most of the parcel is just shown as booked but then no further information is provided on their tracking website.To make the things worst,Sometime there is absolutely no details available on their website,Not even the information that the parcel was booked.
I can provide you proofs for the same.
Also the acknowledgment does not reach us half of the time even if we pay additional for it.

So,in such case its impossible to Contest Buyer's refund claim to PaisaPay as I will not have any delivery confirmation on the speed post online tracking website as well as it is impossible to get POD within the time frame mention in new paisapay.
