If the buyer does a combined check out, then it is possible that all orders will come under a single PaisaPay ID & then it can be taken as a single order.
System will automatically calculate 5% or Rs 125 for each separate PaisaPay ID.

In my current listings I have no provision for COD or pick up. Though I shall participate in your PsPCOD venture, say, in a hypothetical situation,
will you block my listings with PaisaPay and DD provisions if I dont participate in your venture?
I am asking this because almost 100% of my buyers are Germans or Englishmen, who pay by PaisaPay or PayPal.
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

For COD options , what are we going to put in shipping charges coloumn, for a buy it now item we can calculate COD charges but for an auction listing , how are we going to calculate shipping charge.
also if the item value is Rs.300 and seller pays 5% of FVF and 5% or Rs.125 (as you said higher is charged ) so on a Rs.300 item we are paying almost half of it to ebay, pls elaborate , how as sellers we are going to workout our listings.

It seems all the sellers are excited with the Paisapay COD implementation. But i am concerned about Buyers.
1. How buyer protection will come in act in Paisapay COD.
2. How money will be refunded to buyer when he claims for
a refund.
3. Item will be picked up from buyer's doorstep by ebay
Paisapay COD sevice in case unsatisfied buyer who
wants to return the product to seller.
4. What if buyer receive item not as describe in the
parcel or no item at all then buyer open the parcel
after making the payment in front of the courier guy
but refuses the parcel and claim money back form the
courier guy but he wouldn't so what next?
5. Please update the COD Buyer protection in this thread.
With regards
chiranjib....

Sellers can charge a reasonable extra to buyers for providing the COD facility.
For auction listings, my suggestion is to calculate COD charges 5% or Rs 125 on the basis of the market price of the item.
5% COD charges are inclusive of FVF, Cash Management Charges & Shipping Charges, there is no separate 5% FVF.

Buyer Protection under PaisaPay COD will also be covered under eBay Guarantee.
More details on http://pages.ebay.in/guarantee/
eBay Guarantee team would get in touch with unsatisfied buyers, ask them to send the product back to the sellers using a reputed courier company, charges for which would be reimbursed to the buyer.
Courier company process cannot be changed. Parcel is supposed to be delivered & payment collected OR unopened parcel needs to come back to the seller. However, as I mentioned earlier, for SNAD cases, buyers can activate the eBay Guarantee program.

Generally Courier companies offer COD services in only about 10% of their total pin code list. If your pin code is not available in the list (url mentioned earlier), it means that "COD services" are not available for that pin code. Courier services may be available in your pin code & would be used for PaisaPay (Credit Card / OBT) transactions.

Thank you for the good wishes.
& regarding your earlier question : There is no penalty for not participating in PaisaPay COD. It is not binding on all sellers to select PaisaPay COD. However, we believe this will help sellers grow their business & tap into a new market which is now available on the eBay platform.
