The charges are 5% of Rs 125. We leave it to the seller to absorb the cost or to charge a reasonable extra amount to the buyer for PsP COD transactions.

Devesh is right about the charges. If the item is bought on PaisaPay COD, seller will be charged 5% or Rs 125/-, there is no extra 4% for PaisaPay charges

Currently I am using AFL for COD shipments but its service is worst and really third class. So do you have any plan to add any other courier services?
Thanks

The system will automatically allocate a courier company to a transaction based on various parameters like pincode serviceability (for pick-up and delivery), product category etc.
PaisaPay COD charges are 5% or Rs 125. Therefore if the value is Rs 3000, 5% of 3000 = Rs 150. This is what the seller will pay for PaisaPay COD which includes Cash handling charges + shipping charges.
Courier companies need some time to consolidate & reconcile payments received from different locations. This process is expected to take about 15 days for most packages and about 30 days for a smaller portion of shipments. PaisaPay will then release the payment to sellers in the next remittance cycle.
We have evaluated & identified reputed courier companies to fulfill COD transactions. We will keep trying to expand this list to make the PsP COD facility available to more buyers across the country.

Just tell me this,
Is it compulsory or optional?
This is a good idea for indian buyers but it wont work for low value hobby items. But I wish you success. Dont give up.
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

Whether seller will get security if any loss arises during the shipping? One more thing as you aware that in mobiles prices are daily changed. Suppose a product cost is 5000.00 & we sent on COD basis. After 15 days if product price gets reduced by 500.00 whereas buyer also not received same or may received after this reduction. Due to which if buyer refuses then what will happen? Seller has to accept return ??
Thanks
