I had bought a sony DSC-H10 cybershot digicam during valentine's day promotion in the year of 2009 (1.5 yrs back). I had received the item within a week since the order placed but yet to receive the Free gift assured "digital photo frame" during the promotion. I keep on contacting ebay through telephone and live chat more than 50 times in the last 1.5 yrs. Everytime I had got the standard reply as "your issue has been escalated / your issue is with our marketing team" and you will receive your gift within 3 days. I am not sure what does 3 days meant in ebay's dictionary. Over 150 three days have gone so far.
When I asked for the email id or contact id to escalate the issue, It was said that there are no e-mail id's and contact numbers to escalate the issue. I don't see any professional standards with customer care executives regarding the free gifts issue. Should I believe that a well established organisation like ebay doesn't have any SLAs? I am pity on you e-bay.
