Hi,
I am new in selling. I need some information about receiving payment.
I was amazed to see that my highest value gem got sold on 7th Nov. (the only bid was on 5th Nov). But the buyer from Patna is not responding.
My questions are:
Should I have to pay the ebay selling fees even if the deal remains unpaid?
Normally how much time do the buyers take to pay? (I have always paid within a day and was hoping everyone to be fast!!)
Also found that he has put bid of over Rs.12500 in two items (one of another seller) within 30 mins of getting registered. I get a feeling that he will not take the gem. If so then how to get protected from such buyers?
Shall be thankful if someone provides the information.
Regards
Swarup Dutta

To get back the eBay fees for a sale which buyer has not paid. You have to follow "Unpaid item process" of eBay. This you can initiate if payment is not received after seven days of sale. If the payment is still not received or you are not satisfied with buyer's reply (during the process), you can close the dispute with an "Unpaid item strike" to the buyer and your fees are refunded by eBay.
I hope this answers your questions.
