No use of Community Court at all. Ebay needs to recheck

Hi Ebay Management & Indraneel,

I would like to bring to your attention that off late community court is just not serving the purpose for which it was created. I would like to cite an example of this to what has happened to me.

Buyer: lilingstone
Feedback: Seller’s blackmailing technique to force customers for best score is nauseating

I filed for community court as my commnunication with buyer didnt result in a positive way ahead.

The buyer never replied to community court. My case went for jury voting and to my surprise i received an email stating "The Community Court has decided that the feedback for this transaction should remain with a majority of 51% of the votes".

How in the world is this fair to me. We are genuine business and are very affected by this fault feedback of the buyer. Now what am i supposed to do. Either the system is at fault or other sellers on ebay (competitors) definately voted me out.

I want my case to be reviewed by Ebay management and decide what is my mistake and what the court ruling came out.

Whats is the use of community court if genuine sellers are not getting a fair trial also. Where are Ebay values gone now. I will appreciate if you can take a look at my case and reply what I should do in such a situation. If you cant reply then let us know and we will not expect justice at community court.

Uptill now i have had very high regards for ebay management and its team, but if this is what treatment we are been metted out then I should definately think of other platforms.

Appreciate comments from other genuine sellers as well if i am right or wrong in my request. If you have voted for me or against me pls do let me know as well.

I feel that if CC is proving useless, we should do away with it and have only the feedback revision forms.

I fail to understand what is ebay's problem if the seller gets the negative feedback converted to positive or neutral from the buyer.
After all the seller cannot himself change the feedback using the form, it is the buyer who will change it and will only do so if he is satisfied.

I fail to understand why ebay took the headache of CC in the first place. Just let the sellers use the feedback revision form and get issues sorted out.

I still stand in favour of the Community Court. It should not be dissolved...improvements yes...dissolved...no.

Regarding feedback revision forms, yes, it should be made to increase the numbers allowed and send a 'reminder' that a feedback is awaiting revision maybe after 5 days it is sent.

i dont why they done this type of thing as most of sellers know each others difficult and we know buyers dont understand us.

i got one of my case which was misunderstanding and buyer want to remove negative feedback

we gave request in cc.

after 10 days i got mail that due to less voting and no result feedback will remain.

what is this man?

but it is not that u should be given a punishment of hanging till death.

pls it is request to review the same and earliest and if possible do something for god sake.

also cc is not opening now a days.i m worried about my another case currently

Yes even I have voted for you because the reason of the feedback was not justified.

My reason for the 13th post was to let other sellers know that CC still decides cases in favour of the sellers if the case is presented in a professional manner with complete details and they should not give up filing cases in CC just because some cases resulted in no verdict, there was no intension to digress your issue in anyway.

WE all are discussing an issue about what happens when you present a case buyer doesnt bother to reply you are right still ebay retains feedback due to no votes or votes which goes against you.

i know you are ebay employee not chair person but you need to do step up against the wrong system with us when we need you.

I think the main reason why not enough votes are being received is simply because people are not able to log in and vote!

If you see another thread going on, since a month people are complaining about receiving an error message when they try to vote.

Till date, no action from eBay's side. Indraneel replied to that thread and said it's working fine but we have tried all browsers.

I have tried IE 7, Opera, Chrome, Firefox 3, Firefox 3.5, Safari 4 and all browsers are giving errors.

Therefore, if users on this thread are getting not enough votes received for their cases, please note the possibility is not because users aren't voting but because people aren't able to vote.

eBay must resolve this problem.

And once the problem is resolved, it would be nice if all of us could make it a point to vote whenever we get time to keep the Community Court alive.

Hey Guys,

The Community Court issue of users not being able to log in has now been resolved.

Please try logging in and casting votes and let's do our part in keeping the Community Court alive so that everybody has a chance to have their voices heard.

We can now check if enough votes are being received and determine if the cannot log in issue caused few votes to be cast.
