No help from eBay team

I am a new seller on eBay and having a tough time.
As I see there is no security for a seller on eBay, any buyer can abuse, misbehave and threat you for no reason. And, you should not expect any help from anywhere.

Because an eBay seller doesn't, even, have a right to open any case against such buyer who is trying to cheat you.

Recently, one of my buyer "ranjan435" bought an item from me and intentionally damaged it. Then, demanded refund. However he was assured for it on his first call. But, he wanted more than what he paid for it.
And threatened, If I don't pay, he will destroy my business and credibility, he will feedback negative and open a case against me.
And, he did it.

I wrote to eBay team / customer support and finally to "inrswebhelp@ebay.com"

But, the role of eBay staff is extremely indifferent in this whole episode. No, one wants to hear or help.
The buyer had opened a fake case for "Item not as described" and
Someone Aashish Gupta from ebay team approved it without hearing or understanding my concern, while I was not ready for it.

And, now the buyer "ranjan435" has given a final blow to tarnish my credibility, and left a negative feed back, as he had threatened for.

I don't know, what should I do ? Should I close down my seller's account ?

Senior Sellers are requested to advise and help me in my problem. Veshbhoosha

There is a system in place for getting negative feedbacks removed. Please follow it.

But First I would like to ask you whether you are more bugged with your loss of Rs 151 or with the negative feedback u have received. I would suggest you to take the monetary loss , as the buyer who has left that negative is a senior eBayer and is on eBay from last 2 and half years. So I feel he wont lie that watch is broken. Am not taking sides but am trying to make this situation for you more lighter. I think you can bear the loss of Rs 151.

Now when you are not thinking about that 151 Rs we can talk about that negative feedback. Call your buyer, talk politely and tell him that you are approving the refund and ask him if he is ready to revise the feedback. Explain to him that you are already bearing loss because of damage in transit and explain how his negative is affecting your business. Even deep wounds heal so may be he will reverse his feedback.
To send him feedback revision request use this link http://feedback.ebay.in/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ReviseFeedbackInitiate

In case he is not accepting to remove the feedback, put appeal in community court by clicking on this link- http://www.ebaycourt.com

Put you case across and it will be removed if jury votes in favor of removal.

There is nothing else you can do. Also one final time please do not keep copy pasting your posts every where. Even other people may be in some problem and may be looking for advise.

@linusstudios
Sir, I am not concerned with money. I have mentioned already that I agreed for replacement / repair or refund on his very first call. And, even, I was ready to pay up to Rs. 100/- for repair or retuning cost to this buyer.

But, when he started using insulting language and threatened to wipe me off the eBay. I lose my patience and I cut his phone.

This all conversation is not telephonic alone, I have emailed communication between us where I have assured him for his full refund in my very first mail to him.

and I forwarded this whole communication to "inrswebhelp@ebay.com" while intimating them about the incident of such threats and misbehavior, not only verbal but also in writing through email. I provided them screen shots of these emails, pictures of the item which he returned and pictures of packet which he claimed to be torn and returned the item in same packing, which is still fully fresh. but, they didn't responded to it.

the emails are still available in my ebay inbox.

Further, he has already received his full refund. and then he has left his feed back as he threatened for. and furthermore, he will do the same by some other names too. Veshbhoosha

Your concern is removal of -VE feedback, appeal in community court by clicking on this link- http://www.ebaycourt.com

Put your case across for removal of -VE feedback and I am 51% TO 100% sure, it will be vanished by majority jury voteing in your favor. Why to worry. Move on ...........

Ethically, I do not agree with your statement below:

QUOTE
The buyer had opened a fake case for "Item not as described" and Someone Aashish Gupta from ebay team approved it without hearing or understanding my concern, while I was not ready for it.
UNQUOTE

And I suggest follow as seniors have advised.

@veshbhoosha_tls

Again you are loosing the focus. Your concern is getting the feedback removed, why are you reporting it to INRS? Appeal in the community Court if you have not done till now.

"But, when he started using insulting language and threatened to wipe me off the eBay. I lose my patience and I cut his phone."

Do you have the above thing on records, I mean in recorded telephonic conversation or on eMail?

I would advise you to move ahead and leave the incident behind after getting ur feedback removed. Do add the buyer to your ban list and In case he decides to go after u through purchases done via fake ids then report him for violation.

@veshbhoosha_tls...

I am surprised that you are wasting so much of your time and everybody's eles's time over 150/-. Just imagine the cost you have paid towards computer usage and internet usage.

You have been suggested several times what to do but I don't what's your issue in life. ebay has returned the money back to the buyer....fine its over, now just appeal in comm court for the feedback removal and get over with it. Move on man. I am sure you have many important things to do. If everybody was to fret & fume over a single negative FB there would be no sellers on ebay today.

If you want to close down your account its your choice.

@ ebay sellers

I am reading this thread for two days, And
I feel sorry for the sellers around here, who are rather concerned with their seniority than with a member of their own community.

veshbhoosha doesn't seem to be concerned with money or a mare -ve feedback.
But, somebody has threatened and abused him which is totally against the eBay policy and the morality too.

He informed the incident to eBay team, INRS etc. who didn't help him out. And, now, is looking for some way from his colleagues, where he can get relief from such threats this time or in future.

veshbhoosha_tls, I am sorry my friend. being a buyer on eBay I don't have enough information about a seller's tools.
But, one thing is for sure that you are expecting help at the wrong place.

My friend ; the matter is not of a buyer or seller BUT the matter is RIGHT and WRONG.
Yes! you are right. I have seen such incidents.
Not only this, I have also instances where some buyers have beaten up a seller and vise versa.

So what ? Do you want this all should happen here too ?

My dear, eBay is a market place and all of us including eBay itself try to keep it a safe n secure place. The things which happen outside should not happen here too. We should ostracize such elements if we find them.
So that, people should feel free to drive in here.

And what ? if some buyer has a score of 28 feedbacks ?

Okey ! tell me.
Can you put up a negative feedback in a buyerโ€™s profile ?

NO ! NOT AT ALL. YOU CANโ€™T.

Because, eBay system doesnโ€™t have this option for sellers. Otherwise, the people like this man will go beyond zero.

My friend, you have sold so many things on eBay. And you should know, a buyer is judged by the feedbacks he left for others.

Just check his profile! He has some problem in every alternate deal.

And, I have also viewed the profile of veshbhoosha, where almost all of his buyers including few from abroad are specially emphasizing upon his personal attitude towards them, besides his products.

Besides, I have heard this name โ€œranjan435โ€ on quite a few more places in similar matters.

AND, I told earlier, I was reading this thread for two days. I was surprised to see the responses.
Someone put his problem admitting that he is new and asked for help.

And, others started a debate on it.
Pulled it even longer and lose the focus from the Basic Problem.
While ! It belongs to all of us.

Just see yourself :

Someone wrote โ€œSTOP SPAMMINGโ€. And, himself posted it many times.
(I think he has taken some special right on it)

Someone is sitting here just to copy what others say.

Somebody advised of closing account. (he donโ€™t want so many sellers here)

Someone who is himself here, for a few months, wrote :
โ€œThis man is playing a gameโ€ - See the other thread.
(I think such people have played so many games themselves so they have acquired special sense of smelling the games)

However, on the other hands, some of the seniors sympathized and advised for moving towards feedback removal.

But, I see ; no-one knows more than what veshbhoosha has already done to fight back such situations.

Friends, after being for many years on eBay,
I request to all of you that if we canโ€™t do anything in somebodyโ€™s problem.
At least, we should avoid increasing his misery by sarcastic, scolding and negative remarks.

@ veshbhoosha
Friend ! I have personally interacted in this matter and will definitely do something for you.
Just have patience.
