Seller should take care to perform their duties honestly and carefully. If a buyer gets faulty/fake article, he will definitely give a negative feedback, then the seller gets up from sleep and make a hurry/urgency to request to remove the feedback and ebay people very well support them.

But you should think twice before taking extreme step. I am not talking of forgive and forget. You should give reasonable opportunity.

just for your information, a negative can be removed by appealing in community court, if seller puts his case properly and Jury finds the negative is unjustified.

For resolving your problems, you should first contact the seller, if it goes unheard, open INR/ISNAD case accordingly. Which is way better in option of resolving your issue.

Remember, negative feedback is not solution to the problem. It is similar as, you bought the product from retail store, didn't find it as per expectation and you start bad mouthing about that store. Nothing will happen, however, if you take the product to that store and tell them your problem they will but offcourse sort out your issue.

I purchased a black berry storm 9500, online from standard enterprises.

First the item was not shipped on time .
2.He could not be contacted on phone neither did he reply to my mails.
3. After i received the phone it my shock i got to know it is not wi-fi enabled though the seller clearly states other wie in his product description.
4. Further he is selling a lower version of the phone-4.7,which he has not disclosed.
Further the community court also voted in favour of the seller. Though ebay call center person poonam herself admitted that it is very difficult to speak to the seller as it is not easy to contact him .

9500 howsoever doesnot have wi-fi , as blackberry itself doesnot incorporate wi-fi in the same, and believe me wi-fi is of no use in a blackberry phone, as the company restricts all browser activities and also third party programs like gmail yahoo or even the app manager, which works only on gprs or bb services, believe me its of no use, but i do agree the seller should have handled all this communication and made u understand this, also the 4.7 version you also can easily upgrade to 5.0 above . its very easy just download the latest version file and via bb manager it can be done, or ask your seller for help.

I had one of my negative feedbacks given to the seller removed today.
First thing the seller never shipped the item or even cared to return my follow up emails and phone calls untill i gave him the feedback.
And afer this he tells that the product described was never in stock!!
He had same product listed several times on ebay with each listing showing minimum of 3 pieces in stock.
If the product was not in stock then why to post it?
Now ebay India tells me that the Negative feedback will be removed since the case has been judged in the seller's favour.
This is ridiculuos.
Now we don't even have right to provide Negative feedbacks to service that the seller screwed, bcoz if you did that the feedback will be removed by just appealing to the ebay.

In www.ebaycourt.com site is not use friendly. I left one negative feedback for which seller appealed before ebay court. He claimed that I did not inform him about the defective product before giving the negative feedback. But I had mailed him saying I would be giving the negative feedback. I did not receive any reply from him. I mentioned this in ebaycourt in reply to seller claim. I wanted to upload snaps of the item received but every time I upload snaps there was some occurring. So I mentioned this also in my statement. After that I do not know what seller replied to that. Because in the ebaycourt site I was not able to view the seller reply. Next day morning I got mail saying case is closed, jury has decided to remove the negative feedback with 51% vote on seller side. For me it is unfair. I received the defective product. Seller did not reply to my mail and ebaycourt site did not allow me to upload snaps. On what basis jury decided that seller is right? I am still puzzled. I think ebay people are unfair to its customers and they support their sellers.

I had left a negative feedback for a seller as I had received the packet empty. The seller kept promising that he will resend the item since he had an insurance with the courier company but never did. When I left the negative feedback, he appealed in the Community Court saying that he had already send the item by registered post. I replied by saying that I will remove the negative listing once I receive the item. The voted in the favour of the seller and the negative listing was removed on the 51% voting in favour of the seller. The item has not received by me even till date. I feel very disappointed as I have lost my money but cannot do anything now. I will make sure that I will not buy anything from the same seller in future. My negative listing did not help.

Purchased OMRON HEM 7111 Blood Pressure Digital BP Monitor +Wrnty from http://myworld.ebay.in/reliableenterprise but instrument is faulty..given negative feedback but ebay court removed it...I have purchased many items from ebay and I was very happy with ebay but this experience make me think twice before buying anything on ebay..seller not ready to replace or accept instrument is faulty,he want me to claim warranty to product company..very disappointing...I loose my money no worries but...ebay will loose reputation bad...i will raise this issue in my all blog site with all my blogger friends

Hi,
Even I agree that buyer should at least contact the seller and allow him the chance to resolve it as most problem can be resolved Mutually. But there are few people who use the Negative feedback as a weapon and more over Now days ebay Customer support staff directly informs the buyer that if you have received the faulty item or have any problem. You can leave your feedback.
