NOTICE - Be careful, everybody

Internet is the most popular tool for scammers nowadays; here are some common ways to cheat buyers in Online Trading.

Scammers here referred to any company or individual businessman who did not registered themselves with local government authorities in India, your business will not be protected by Indian government in case you deal with illegal sellers as individuals / companies. That is why you have to check out their entity identification before participation in trade with them.

:_|
1) Always Deal With Premium Sellers:

Yes, this is very important. Look everybody wants to make quick money. And in this age of scammers Famous B2B or B2C portals like EBAY etc provide the ideal hunting ground for people who want to make money without spending any. Always make sure your Seller is honest and genuine Supplier, more preferably a Power Seller [Prefer 2 or more years]. This does not guarantee risk free transactions but it reduces the chances of fraud.

2) Study the Seller's Profile

Make sure the seller you are dealing with, is an active user of EBAY with good trade record and has a complete profile. By that I mean he has a detailed introduction of his company / entity along with contact numbers and addresses. Also make sure he has professionally presented his credentials as a seller. Serious Sellers always work hard on the presentation of business identificatin.

3) Look for References

Ask the Seller for other Buyers he has worked with. Ask him for at least 3-4 online references that can endorse his credibility as a seller. Once he gives you some references, make sure you get in touch with them and ask for the details of their deals especially the modes of payment they adopted. Look Feedbacks but do not trust 100%.

4) Ask the EBAY OFFICIALS / EXPERTS

Yes, you can do that as well. Ask the fraud departments of EBAY to give you their view of the credibility of the seller. If EBAY also charge for this but it is worth spending a little money to avoid any major loss. You may also browse different trading forums and ask the users about the seller.

5) Safety of Payment

PAISAPAY is the safest mode of payment for big payment at EBAY.IN. Make sure you adopt it. However, IF it is not always possible to work that way. So make sure you pay through cheque or some third party online services like PAYPAL etc. Never send payments directly to new seller through Direct Money Transfer Services / Demand Draft.

6) Avoid Big Deals Initially

Never go for a huge transaction straight away. Especially, with new sellers. If possible, break your order into smaller segments. This might increase the cost of shipping and time to some extent but it reduces the risk considerably. However, with familiar seller you may go for bigger deals but be careful while doing that as well. These were some steps that I learnt in online trading and recommend people to consider while Trading Online. There are a few more tricks but I would leave that for some other time.

NOTE- PLEASE DONT MAKE ALWAYS EBAY RESPONSIBLE IF YOU GOT SCAMMED ALL THE TIMES. BECAUSE LIKE YOU THERE ARE MANY NUMBERS OF MEMBER HERE FREE OR PAID. AND NO ONE CAN VERIFY THE NATURE OF THE CLIENT / COMPANY /SELLER / BUYER.

FOR EXAMPLE JUST THINK YOURSELF CAN YOU TELL YOUR WHICH FRIEND CAN CHEAT YOU IN NEAR FUTURE?????

FEW SELLERS SHOWS FAKE DEEDS WHILE OBTAINING MEMBERSHIP, AND AFTER GETTING POWER MARK ON IT, START SCAMMING.

USE YOUR MIND NOT HEART ITS ALL ABOUT BUSINESS DEAR FRIENDS, AND NOTE BUYERS ARE FREE MEMBERS 100%, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU GOT SCAMMED.

EBAY IS JUST A PLATFORM, AND YOU HAVE TO BOARD THE FLIGHT SAFELY BY YOURURSELF.

Sure, maybe not all members want that kind of responsibility, but I know plenty who are. For every major stride taken by the entry level member, there are hundreds (or thousands) left still trying to find a way. Or you find they suddenly take a backseat of comments.

If you want more equality among the all community of members in trade, you have to do your part. Even as a Y member, there are plenty of ways to contribute, even if you are still in an entry-level role. Suggest right views, found them if you have to. Spend time and Share
your talents with colleges who want to learn the skills for good decision-making, but can not seem to find the resources. And like we do here, write, comment and share. Seniors have something to offer.

Either we should stop embrace each other or now we need to start embracing each other. RATAN.TRADE

Enuf Guys Leave poor @Ratan.trade alone, don`t make him your source of Amusement, he sure is different , but well if you neglect his Bad Presentation and also Bad English, sometimes, his OUT OF THE BOX thinking, does make sense, and despite having BAD COMMAND over Vocab, he is Very Determined.

My advice to @Ratan,Trade, as a Bro donot take it Personally, why do you reply to people who keep mocking you, as when you reply, people feel amused and keep the vicious cycle on, if you want to prove something and want to really do good work for the community, please start for us a face-book account, and keep posting threads , otherwise a Blog is better.

If you want any help to open blog contact me, i will help, and this way you can genuinely help, as i have seen you do go out of your way to prove your point, that is a bad point and a good point.

Bad point is that it makes you look self-centered and blank to other peoples point of view which is not right.

And good point is that it shows lot of belly fire and determination, if you have enough belly fire, do it for a cause, instead on wasting time here, start your blog or a face-book account and invite people for debates, i personally feel you wasting your time in eBay discussion boards, as the audience which you will receive is only a pack of few old senior ebayers, mostly all sellers,

If you want to target the buyers and sellers alike why not open a vb bulletin forum, and discuss with all about the entire e-commerce scenario, flaws in eBay, and other shopping portals, too.

Indian shopping websites all face the same problems, and same loopholes, so do it for a cause, instead of getting mocked around on petty personal remarks.

Think big, and please clean up your English and presentation, as in on-line world, English is the only language , and you should have a good mastery of the same to get across your thoughts to the right audience. And donot get personal with everyone, learn to LET-GO and not flustered up always.

I hope you take my advice in a right manner and not in bad sense, i am advising you as you BRO,as i see , you are mocked upon at every thread you reply or start, you have become a MOCK MAGNET, of this forum , please change your ways and methods, have a bit of matured outlook that will help you, and also will in-turn help your intended audience.

If you felt bad on any of the points of my advise above, just pardon me, and forgive me, i usually never go out of the way, but felt, before its too late, should get this message across, to you and deep apologies if i hurt your feelings, again reiterating have advised you as a capacity of your bro on this forum, no hard feelings.

Innovation happens at the intersection of the disciplines, ah, so if innovation happens at the intersections we need to ensure the diversity in discussion. Which is absconding?

Choose, which is better, fracture literature with constructive thoughts or good literature with fractured thoughts! I said better not best. Evaluate please โ€ฆ.

Letโ€™s start constructive and innovative.

Now, I can see transition of unconscious mind
In this forum, just I discovered a very intriguing and fertile perspective on the role forum may play in the emergence of a conscious mind. See below. I added the emphasis for highlighting the potential that I sense for public innovation experiments using forum for Emergence.

I Notice, also, that forum discussion can suddenly reach a critical mass that then forces something out into the open, into public consciousness. You might think of it as an analogy to the subconscious vs. the conscious. The formal or conscious part is what today discussion forum is about, EBAY forum and so on. But the informal layer, comprising things like threads, is like our unconscious mind. It is not publicly visible. But all kinds of things are happening there.

Things get linked together and suddenly there can be enough links (creating a dense mesh of inter-textual links) that the underlying idea breaks through to public consciousness. The recent situation is an excellent example. Initially, the mainstream discussion didnโ€™t pick up on what I said. It wasnโ€™t in the public consciousness. It was the thread that identified the issue and got the debate going. It was connected at the subconscious level speaking metaphorically in terms of the ebay experts mind. Enough energy was generated, and then it burst forth into the conscious mind and into the formal discussion.

Thatโ€™s how you get a phase transition from the unconscious to the conscious and v-v. Thatโ€™s how you get a phase transition from within the informal discussion forums to the public recognition and mainstream. And I know a lot about the mathematics of this. Forums help us understand what leads to phase transitions.

Thought: Use Effective Online Assessment to develop competent forum

Forum Constructivist Approach: Collaborative interaction and dialogue, Access to rich resources, Understanding content, Contribution of constructive interaction to respondents.

Objective:
Engagement, collaborative resolutions, problem solving, open access to e-resources

Final thought
Teach, but first assess the thoughts of the thread, right? Not necessarily! You decide. Constructivism approach: Ensure participants undertake your constructivism approach conscientiously.

Complexity of the process, Support them through activities that foster their development step by step not Self-directed: Create forums for them, formulate assignments that are meaningful, threads, online peer review and discussions.

Are we there yet??
