Mobile not functioning after 3 months

Hello!

I bought a HTC desire X mobile through ebay from a Mumbai based seller (called Shoponnet). After 3 months, my mobile showing no signal of the service provider. I found out that the problem is with the mobile not with the sim card or weak signal. Though I agree with the fact that the model itself might have some problems, it is not expected that the mobile cannot function properly in a very short period of time like this. I am very disappointed with this issue. I request the concerned of ebay to critically evaluate the sellers who register in your website and make sure that they maintain some standards in selling the products. Moreover, while asking the buyers to give a feedback on the items purchased, there should be some provision for buyers to give their feedback after sufficient period during which they used the product they bought and then they give the feedback. Then only the purpose of the feedback is served, in my opinion.

Seller cant be held liable for products malfunctioning after certain period of Time. If he gave you a proper invoice you would have to go the service centre. No fault of seller in that.

have you contacted the seller first??
Have seller provided warranty??
If so is it seller warranty or manufacture warranty??
What would you do if you purchased same product from your near by store and stopped working after 3 months??

You will surely take the phone to the shop. In the same way you should contact seller before coming to any conclusion.Electronic goods some times do create a problem.
You should communicate with your seller like all do.

If seller has provided manufacturer warranty, then don't waste time here .Go to HTC service center to get it fixed.

If seller has provided Seller/Dealer warranty then contact your seller and explain the problem.

As of me, when i purchased something, i will do what i have mentioned here above, Before complaining on ebay or anyone else.

definately not a seller problem...u should be aware of the condition given by the seller before purchase only
