I bid for a Longines watchdescribed as Model L2 673 4 78 6. This model is an expensive chronometer ($6000) which had no reserve and I realised that it was not the model mentioned otherwise there would have been a reserve proce mentioned. I bid nevertheless and won the auction for under Rs. 12000 and the watch arrived successfully. It was a genuine Longines with guarantee card but when I examined the back the model number inscribed on it was L2 628 4 78 6. In this the chronometer and the moon phase is non functional. Everything else is the same as the more expensive model. By not mentioning this in the product description the seller was not being entirely truthful. These watches are still being put for auction on Indian eBay as the more expensive model.
