I clicked this link hoping I could leave feedback directly to ebay, not enter into a forum. It is a link that seems to help ebay avoid interchange with customers (buyers and sellers).

Hi frontlinetechnologies,

If you wish to give private feedback to eBay, please feel free to write to our Customer Support team. You can also write to me at sapana@ebay.com

The idea behind the forum is that members can openly give feedabck to eBay, and other members can comment on the feedback, making it more robust. This helps us identify key issues bothering a large part of Community.

Hi Sapana,
I am new buyer & user on ebay.i am very interested to buy a mobile on ebay but on checking all the branded mobile listings,i have come to conclusion that mobile prices are quite high here on ebay as compared to local showroom prices.for example- brand new Nokia 5130 express music is available for rs.5000/- in local nokia showrooms but on ebay its available for around rs.5400/- & more.....if prices are like this on ebay then dont you think its better for a buyer to buy from a local showroom instead of buying on ebay....Sellers are making excuses that they have to pay high selling charges to ebay as well as high shipping charges but that doesn't mean that the mobile prices will be quite high on ebay as compared to local showroom prices.Price difference is still more than Rs.500 & more. You can see that most listings of mobile phones clearly mentioning FREE SHIPPING ALL OVER INDIA.I think sellers must not befool buyers by saying free shipping........kindly give me ur opinion on all this going on...If prices will be like this on ebay, then nobody will buy mobiles on ebay who is already well aware of actual local market prices.

regards
manish

I have seen few things regarding the bidding of items.
In one item that I was watching ..i have seen bidding gone to Rs6500 before 2-3 hrs to close bidding.Suddenly out of blue somebody has put a next bid of rs28500 and then rs29000+.
Now tell me is that possible that merchant himself has put the high bid to avoid going it at a lower price that he didn't wanted. Then what the use of putting it for bidding.
Is it the correct ethics being shown by the merchant ?
If my assumption is true then it's totally incorrect.
There is a reserve price for items one seller can put.He should use this facility to get his min expected price.

Again in some other case bidder has canceled his bidding.
I can provide the name of sellers if ebay asks me.
