So if you would have bought all this from your local china bazaar they would have given you full service and follow up do you think ???
If you are so conscious try buying designer and branded goods, please understand the money which you pay is a factor in everthing, there is no free lunch, if you buy a goods woth few hundreds of rupees, the dealers then selves donot manufacture it, thus they while trading ususally operate at around maximum of 10 percent margin, after deducting all expenses.
Now in branded goods dealers are given 1.5 to 2 percent margins, as most of the headache of customer service is taken over by brand owners, which charge you sometimes 4 times to 5 times the value of the goods.
For example a generic fm transmitter is available cheapest on ebay for 219rs and the same belkin cheapest is available for 2500rs now, you utilise your logic , if you pay a seller for 219rs worth gadget a 2500rs, he is bound to give you warranty, and service, thus everthing is included in the price, Brands are nothing but, they take lot of money in advance for all the customer care and service, and generics are all post paid.
But both will sometime falter down, only difference is branded is prepaid warranty and generic is post paid warranty.
i hope this will help you make better descisions in future.
