not just those cetegories but all other electronics product must have free shipment, so buyer not get confused when searching products and compare price. while ebay shoulde prodive a box to seller where sleeer can write shipping charges sperately and list item, while ebay will show buyer to free shipping and include shipping charges with item cost. thank you

From this eBay announcement it seems that eBay is listening / looking into customers feedback. Good move on this shipping cost confusion.

good initiative, we request you to have these policy implimented on all the category across ebay, no shipping charges option in any category...

This should be done for all the categories and not only these categories. It will lead to much better buying experience on ebay for customers. At present some sellers manipulate the shipping structure to get visibility. They list free shipping for within city delivery and shipping cost for other places. In search results the buyers see free shipping and when they decide to buy the item, suddenly they see shipping cost. This is driving buyers away from ebay. This is a very simple and logical issue, which needs to be addresses ASAP.  And if free shipping cannot be done across all categories, then a flat shipping charge should be allowed instead of within city and flat delivery anywhere in India.

I completely agree with this comment because Sellers like me deals at lower prices items and it differs from seller-to-seller someone includes Shipping wheares some not, If there is FREE SHIPPING FOR ALL ITEMS. BUYERS would not be so CONFUSED in taking decision what to buy,what not.

But it should be implemented in all the categories. While searching a product it is often seen that  some items in the listing page shows "Free Shipping" but after getting inside the product page we can see that there is written shipping charges as Rs....... I think it will be best if the product lists including all shipping,tax,etc. so that one should not get confuse after viewing two types of prices

It is a very good step forward...

Should be applied to all listings.....

But there must be a area where sellers can provide product amount and shipping cost separately but ebay should merge & show the total price when buyer views the listings...

Lets take a hypothetical situation- If a seller is selling a Rs 1000 cellphone and incurs Rs 200 shipping on it. He wants to sell the product on mrp. How will he add shipping charges.

If he lists the price as Rs 1200 (Including shipping charges) buyers would leave negative feedback saying they were overcharged.

Therefore instead of removing the shipping charges all together it would have been better to remove "local" and "national" shipping charges which seller use to creat listings which show as free shipping.
