Hi Guys oNCe again ... gosh i hate to sound like a cry baby..... Have u Noticed that 14Kt Gold is Sold at about 785/gm whereas in the market 22kt Gold costs About 685 Max....?????

I agree with you and I have stopped seeing other caratage of gold other than 14k I want to buy stuff in 18k/22k gold but nothing available and even if it is how do i find it

The current rate of 22K Gold is Rs. 870 per gram. How do you expect 22K Gold item to be sold at Rs. 685 per gram? If someone is giving you then it is not 22K obviously.

I beleive all sellers are selling jewelery. The cost of jewellery includes designing, making marketing and sundry other costs.

Designer Jewellery cannot be sold by weightage and nowhere in the world it is?

Have you ever wondered that in the offline market when the jeweller advertises "0" making charges or 75% discount on making charges where is he making is money from? Selling jewellery offline is a huge cost of sales. You have huge airconditioned, expensively decorated showrooms, stocks worth crores of ruppees, beautifull highly paid sales girls / boys, armed security, insurance payments, etc.

Where are all these costs coming from?

Just ponder awhile before making jewellery purchases online or offline.
