I have been a loyal Ebay customer from the last six years and I have order various products while I was in India, Germay and UK.
But recently I had a terrible experience and the issue is still not resolved.
I had ordered 'Used Bose QC 15 Noise Cancelling' headphones (181191616706) from Ebay India on 19-Aug-13 after inquiring with the seller about its authenticity and durability. I was told that it is a genuine Bose product and doesnt have any damages. I recieved it promptly the next day.
I found that there was damage on the headband and decided to take it to Bose Service center in Bangalore as I didnt expected much as it was a used product. But for my surprise, I got humiliated in front of all the people there when I was told that the product was fake and is not developed by Bose. And hence, they refused to give any service.
I was suggested to take a legal path against Ebay for 'Cheating and Fraud' as I have the fake product (which Bose service center has confirmed) and the Ebay message from seller before buying that the product is genuine Bose product.
But as this is the first horrible experience I had with Ebay, I am giving them an another chance to see how responsible is the Ebay Support team in resolving this issue.
My futher actions will depend upon the Ebay team's response.
