Ebay not quick in processing / irresponsible ?

My experiences are worst with ebay India. Many people in the thread has suggested to do dont confirm receipt of the item and file a dispute .. etc
1. If you dont confirm receipt of the item and even send it back to the buyer and have a dispute opened for that, still ebay calls you and asks you whether you have received the item, even you say you have opened a dispute and have sent the item back, the people dont care about that and forcefully marks the item as received.After waiting for 1 month I escalated to claim , now its over 1 month again , ebay has sent a mail just saying that seller has agreed to refund (even though he was saying the same thing for 1 month) so the claim is temporarily closed and seller is allowed to refund the amount in 2-3 weeks. Its the buyers money which is involved and they dont really act as a professional.They are like regular govt offices where in people have to roam around the desks.
Maybe buyer can get his money back , but if that money is not coming in the time it has to, the purpose of buyer protection is defeated.

I have sent an email to indraneel@ebay.com hoping that somebody will see things moving.No response till now.

you are right sir ebay or paisa pay only protect the seller not to buyers.till now my dipute was not solved after sending email to inrswebhelp@ebay.com .then i sending the email to regarding fake apple ipod which was bought from super.sales then ebay protection send me email which was as follow- i have been assigned as the Adjuster for your Buyer Protection Claim
regarding item number 250247672250. Claim Number
1674210. after 1 and half month till now i dont get my refund through ebay and not even call or email.ebay only supports the sellrs and not to buyer ebay site not safe for shopping.and ebay main aim to to bulid more proift through fees.ebay is not safe site.

Hello Ravi (rksangubotla),

We understand that you have had an unpleasant experience with us and we are striving to make good the loss that you have incurred in your purchase. In the first place, seller had informed us that he will be refunding you the entire sum in exchange of the product. Hence, we had closed the claim.

Unfortunately, the seller did not fulfill his promise and on your intimation to us we re-opened the claim and tried contacting the seller to settle this dispute. When he failed to revert after a couple days (which we give to both buyers and sellers) we closed the claim in your favour. Hence this claim has taken a long time to get closed.

I'lll arrange for the shipment for the same within the next 3 days and should be with you.

I hope I was able to provide you assistance in this regard.

Hi Indraneel,

I appreciate the personal attention by you for looking into this matter for faster resolution. I received the DD as you said today.

One request / advice is "faster resolution is very important at least in this modern world". Proper and prompt action on the sellers / buyers who violate the ebay standards should be done to ensure trust and safety.

Once again I thank you for co-operating for the resolution. I expect this will not happen again.
