Ebay at fault with 'Want it get it' free gift promotion

Hi reader,
I kept facing a strange technical issue while selecting my free gift: http://i41.tinypic.com/xf9bgl.jpg

I wanted the 'Jabra 2045 Bluetooth Headset' & so i selected it regardless of the wrong picture (which I thought will obviously be sorted out by ebay).

4 days later, today when I'm checking the status, it says:

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
I hope ebay takes a note of it take the necessary steps to change my free gift.

Please suggest what to do.

It's been 6 days & ebay has still not responded to my mail, nor to this thread.

Pity on you!!!

Actually there was a problem in the ebay site for the first two days.... even I had the similar problem... I called up customer care repeatedly and explained them the situation.

And finally they told me (on 1-May) it will be changed as per my requirement and they will start dispatching the gifts as soon as possible.

So just call up customer care (or even you can chat with them) and explain them the scenario, they will be able to help you in selecting the correct gift again.

Thanks for posting a reply.
I've tried it many times ... the customer car call centre executive ask me to email ebay.
I've emailed them, haven't got any replies as yet (its been almost a month).
Ebay didn't respond to this thread either.
PLUS, i strongly feel it was just a sham to boost sales ... there wont be any gifts.
So why waste time 🙂
Note to self: NEVER EVER buy anything from ebay especially when they PROMISE a gift.
