I purchased an expensive Laptop worth Rs 62000 which was
received in an used condition. Ebay Guarantee claim took
5 days to register and after that Ebay India did nothing for 20 days despite many calls to customer support which
takes so long to materialize as the waiting Queue on
phone is atleast 15-20 minutes. Lot of harsh language had
to used to get the EBAY tele executives to understand and react. It seems there is no intent on part of EBAY.IN to solve a problem, they are just there to deflate your effort and keep you waiting so long that you lose patience and finally give up. Claim 'adjusters' promise a call back which never materialise and it makes you wonder if there is an intent on part of Ebay to protect the buyers interest.
Even now the amount of refund for reverse shipping to be
paid by EBAY has to be fought out. Compare this with
Customer support in EBAY.com which is fast, reactive and
works almost by itself without the customer having to prompt or coax them. Ebay (India)guys PLEASE wake up or else all the goodwill will disappear and business will fly to more efficient portals like Flipkart.
