EBAY.IN: A BUYER'S OPINION

I am a long time Baazee buyer and I fully understand The Sellers' concerns generally expressed in this community forum : Transactions on eBay are so lengthy & cumbersome, the credit card payment system is such a disaster, the eBay team is so irresponsive to correct their own mistakes, that I will now think twice before using eBay to obtain my electronics, photographics and computer goods, and seek alternate ways either on the net or else. I have one 20,000 Rs worth product in the pipe line since a week with no sign that it be paid to the Seller; the fax number for the authorisation letter is wrong and, one week after complaining, the fault has not been corrected and you still don't get a fax tone when you dial that number! An alternate number was given after my complaint, I sent my fax and 4 days later the payment is still pending..
This month, 3 other purchases by me got finally concluded, but with tremendous difficulties. Shopping this way is NO FUN AND A WASTE OF TIME: I have no intention to spend my free time struggling for my purchases to come through!!..
Unless eBay does something to put their act together, you people who make a living from selling on the net will surely suffer and us, buyers, will be deprived of what was once a pleasant way to shop.. How sad when we think that we had an organisation working beautifully, called Baazee...

Hi,

Paisapay and Ebay staff should seriously look into these compaints of payment being cleared after such a delay.

We sellers would not like to loose a customer just because the payments done by buyers are not being cleared and shows pending for 7-8 days.

The buyer here is buying to escape the hassles of going to the market and searching for the product, but if he/she has to wait for such along period for the payment to be verified and then the seller is going to dispatch the material after the clearance, the buyers are surely not going to be happy.

We hope this matter is looked into at the earliest and let us not loose good buyers.

This is very true that days at Bazee were much better & hassle free.Payments were immediately credited to the buyer & products were shipped the same day.I have been a regular in Bazee but now this will be the last time I use eBay.As the saying goes " DON'T REPAIR SOMETHING THATS WORKING FINE " is what happened to BAZEE.
