Recently I purchased a LG-G2X P999 on 25th september through ebay. Paisapay ID 30044114264. According to the dussehra offers i could get a western digital 500gb external harddisk by using the promotion code EBAYDUSS07. I used the same during my transaction. After the transaction, I downloaded the transaction receipt. I received the item in around 3-4 days but wasn't informed about the gift. Then after a couple of weeks I contacted ebay customer care about it, they told me that I hadn't entered the promotion code when I made the purchase whereas in the transaction receipt I got, It was clearly mentioned the that I had entered the code. After much talks with the customer service executive, I wasn't offered any solution. Then I again made the call after a couple of days and a lady CSE picked up. She told me to e-mail them(to the address-"insellerverification@ebay.com") the transaction receipt I received after the transaction and that I would get a confirmation message within 24-48 hours. I did the same but never received the confirmation message so I called them again. This time another lady picked up the phone and when I asked her about the e-mail, she checked on the e-mail and verified that I was eligible for the gift and that I would be getting it within 45 days. Then I waited and made a call to them on 30th November,2011. A CSE named ZAVER picked up the phone. When I asked him about the gift, he started the same old thing again that I was not eligible for the gift and then I had to tell him the whole story(I was so pissed telling the same story again and again). After much arguing he checked on the e-mails I sent and after putting the phone on hold for about 15 minutes, he said me that I was eligible for the gift and also told me to write the same e-mail again and send it to "incswebhelp@ebay.com" and that I would soon get a confirmation mail from ebay within next 24-48 hours (which I ofcourse never got). I waited and called them again on 3rd December and a female CSE named FARHIN picked up this time so I had to again explain her my long story again and guess what she said that I was not eligible for the gift and I stood here shocked like anything. I told her everything I knew and about my earlier talks with ebay but she kept on insisting that I was not eligible for the gift. She moreover told me that the transaction receipt I had was fraudulent. I just didn't know what to say to her. I told her that I got that receipt from their website only but she said that the ebay logo on your receipt is black and white where as it is colored in reality. She was now trying to tell me that I was lying. This just blew me off. A person who is buying Rs. 20,000+ worth product through your website can't do such trifflings. And this didn't finish here. I asked her if I could talk to her senior. After a long hold, she told me that any senior person was unavailable at that time and that she would arrange a call back for me which I would get by the end of that day. Now guess what till now I have'nt received any call from them.
Now I think calling wouldn't do me any good.

I was contacted by a guy named Zubin Bharucha on 12th december,2011 saying
"HI Nakul
This is to confirm that we will be sending across a 500GB branded HDD to you within the next two weeks. Please be assured that you will receive the gift.
Please provide me with the following Details.

2) Address
3) Mobile number

After that I got no updates from ebay. Moreover they deleted my post.
I don't have any idea now that when would I get my free gift.
