Don't Believe eBay guarantee....Very worst service

I bought a new item (laptop), and opened it. The laptop was not working and  nothing displayed in the monitor.

Then called to the seller, he asked to check the RAM. Then again same problem. Then  I raised a claim, and eBay people they won';t accept the claim.....the reason they are telling, this is under manufacturer warranty.   So, this claim is rejected.

 

Which means, if you receive any defective item, eBay won't take this responsibility.  Simply, they will say to contact the seller or the manufacturer....then what is the use of eBay guarantee.

 

Actually  I have bought this as a gift for my friend. And calling the service center to fix a brand new item even before using it is just not proper for what is meant as a gift. If it has worked without problems for a few months and then this problem occurred it might be a different case. What happened now is simply not acceptable.  I talked many times with seller and  eBay customer care regarding this , there is no solution as of now....I paid nearly 30000 and no use of that....The laptop is in the shelf..thatz all......

This happens all the time. Because this item was under manufacturing warranty you can send the item to service center or contact the manufacturer.

If any item is not working when opened, it is not to contact the manufacturer. If I used the item for a week, the I can agree to check with Manufacturer. Irresponsive replies from eBay at any time like this type of case
