Counterfeit items 8GB pen drive sold by the seller mobiles24x7

Dear Sir,

Seller User ID: mobiles24x7
Total: Rs. 6,707.00

I have purchased 3 no. of 8 GB USB Pen Drive, having item no. 230147706615,230147706677 and 230147758282. In this 2 out 3 having sticker as 8GB pasted. If we remove sticker it is showing only 2GB, after copying some amount of data, all are getting corrupted. I fomatted one drive, after that total capacity showing only 250MB.

And the third one written as 8GB, after inserting into the USB port, it is recognising and showing drive as j:. But while opening j: it is showing error as ' Please insert a disk drive into J:'. I verified 2 to 3 machines having differnet OS (WIN2000, Win XP and Vista), it is showing the same error.

When, I communicated this to seller, he replied that he has send the items as described in the ebay and I have received. And he is not replying further even.

Further to this, the serial no.113727-4499-0513 written on the pen drive is shown on the site www.transcendusa.com as the counterfeit pen drive.

Requesting ebay to look into this seriously. It is not only my problem, I received messages from some of other ebay buyers who purchased 8GB pen drive from this same seller mobiles24x7 and facing the same problem.

it look like the drive is duplicate or Counterfeit,

u can open "item not as describe" dispute on ebay & go for claim,

u will defiantly received the reply from ebay or seller.

Mail the seller about product fault & ask for refund.

if he refuse go for buyer protection.

Very sorry for your bad experience,
On checking the seller I found out that you could have avoided this situation.
You bought this item from a seller who has received 2 negative feed backs already for this item only , that also very recently. His feedback reputation is was not good , so you should have avoided him.Also you should have left the +ve feedback at least after checking the item. why were you in a rush,

Any how, Whats done is done. I think the best and only way is to file a dispute and escalate it to a claim.
I think someone from eBay will be advising you on this

The seller is now Not a registered user of eBay. The only option to get your money back is by Buyer Protection if you had paid thru PaisaPay.

You could have checked with other sellers who have listed 8GB Pendrive.

Genuine Transcend 8GB Pendrive costs you Rs.4250 as its new to the Indian Market.

Any way, do file a dispute and escalate the claim. ---------------
