I had ordered 100% New UNIVERSAL CAR MOUNT MOBILE, MP3, MP4,, IPOD HOLDER (161675391925) from ebay on 5-May-2015. I was sent a defected item wherein it was completely unassembled or you easily call them 8 broken pieces. Seller had not sent the invoice also with the package.
When I tried contacting the seller, he did not receive my call neither respond to sms. Finally, I lodged the complaint on customer care to register the com-plaint which got registered vide claim id 1047295.
Now, it is been almost a month now and I have not heard anything from them even for a single time. It is only me who always call customer care to follow up and then the executives assures me that they are escalating the issue and I will get the response in 5 working days. However, about 1 month is going to get over, there is no response. They sent me a message that there team tried contacting me and phone went unanswered. I challenged it completely since it is not possible that my phone can remain unanswered. They had never tried calling me. They are simply saying a white lie. Bloody cheaters, rascals and liarsโฆ.. What should I do now?
I have 2 objectives here:
- To get my refund with penalty on ebay for the harassment since I could not use the product for so long and my money got stuck.
- What procedure do they apply to choose sellers?
- Do they take any severe action against such sellers (apart from merely suspending them from their seller list)
- How serious are they about ebay guarantee.
- How serious is ebay about their reputation loss?
