Complaint against Ebay's Customer Service

I am struggling to process my refund via Ebay, I had purchase one time for which I received damaged item and had returned back to the seller and had a word with seller he said that they are ready to refund the amount but through ebay and I need to open a case. I had opened a case in EBAY case reference number is 57001, post which I have called thrice to the customer service toll free but everytime I receive a same answer that I will receive a call from EBAY in next 48 hrs and the refund will be processed, I am highly dissatisfied with the EBAY customer service and same was not expected by EBAY that such a big company and the processes are so weak that it takes 12 days to process the refund.

This means when I purchase from ebay i have to be prepared and take out time to fight with ebay, today also I have purchased one more item and I think I have done a mistake by relying on ebay processes, it seems like that.

post which I have called thrice to the customer service toll free but everytime I receive a same answer that I will receive a call from EBAY in next 48 hrs and the refund will be processed, I am highly dissatisfied/Irritaed with the EBAY customer service and same was not expected by EBAY that such a big company and the processes are so poor.

 

They told me to wait 15 working days.

 

Claim issued date : 12-06-2014

 

15 working days were left.

 

There is no REFUND/ DEMAND DRAFT till now.

 

This means when I purchase from ebay i have to be prepared and take out time to fight with ebay.

They are forcing me to go consumer court. When i contacted the ebay customer care, He told me the same. He is irresponsible and did not provided any information what  i asked. I recorded all calls and going to file a case against Ebay Team.

Dear Sir,

 

With regards to the above mentioned claim id, the same has not yet been resolved despite our several email reminders and repeated phone calls.

After not receiving any kind of response to our emailed complaints, we have talked to your customer care representatives on 23/6,  24/6,  25/6, on 26/6, and on 27/6 and today with 30/6. Today we also received a call from Ms. *** who has once again assured us that our claim will be resolved very soon. All of them have given different and inconsistent replies to our claim. The various replies given by your representatives are as below :

- Your claim is under process. will get resolved very soon.

- a person will come to your home to pick up the damaged product. You will get a call from our end

- hasnt any one come to pick up the product from your home.? we have already instructed our person to come and collect the defective item from your end. You will get a call shortly within 1-2 hours from your officer handling your claim.

- people from 'powerpack"??, had come to your home TWICE in the past few days, to verify your claim but since your home was closed they went back and so now we have closed your claim. We argued that we have old parents staying at home, wife and kids and our home is open always and could have called before they came,  he said that they have received an email from 'powerpack' and they do not call before they come. On asking how to verify if anyone came, he said they have the emails telling they had come. 

- today again we have been told by Mr. raju that our claim is still open and under process and that they have arranged for the reverse pick up. He put me on hold and talked to the claim officer and got back to us with the answer that the claim officer Mr. Sumit has not been able to get in touch with blue dart people and will definitely call back within one hour.

 

We request you to take up the matter seriously and resolve it immediately.  We have in our earlier emails to insellerverifiation and ebayguarantee, sent the pictures of the damaged product for your reference and necessay replacement of the product.

my name is vijay from hyderabad.i have purchased micromax canvas hd a116 battery as it was listed as genuine .from the day i am using it,my mobile gets switch off automatically.i have shown my mobile in micromax service center and they are saying that the battery is not genuine. its causing lot problem to me..how can i solve this problem.i lost my money buying a duplicate battery. can i know is it genuine or duplicate.

Shopping with E bay is a disaster. It was a nightmare

 

Ebay is making fool of their user by saying it a ebay guarantee. I bought a 2x lens from this site and when I received that lens its quality was not as good as it was shown in the specification. its picture quality is very bad not at all acceptable and when I approach the ebay they said wait we will respond to you and in the end they refuse to return back my money which I paid for it by paisa pay through my credit card. Now I realise that why shopping from on line sites are not good. I will never shop on line again . Why do u commit return and refund on website. Stop fooling innocent customers. Its high time Thanks Aditya

My Claim id : 567898

 

I have raised the complaint about the product and waiting for the reply.

 

I didn't get any reply/call from ebay or  the seller (shyam-tech) yet.

 

Cliam remains 'open' without any progress or reply. 

Don't promot this type of seller, who is not responding, after sending the damaged products.

 

Here attahed my claim screens hot.

 

Content is :

 

"Product, Huawei E8231 is damaged. Most of the time it is not working. There is a long delay for switch on the modem. Some times it may not. Wifi is not turned on sometimes. Wifi automatically turned off sometimes. I have tested it on different power socket and laptop. Find out that it is the problem of the device .I want to moneyback or replace it. Please initiate the process. I tried to contact seller by message, but not responding."

I ordered Lenovo phone and paid the amount online itself while buying on 29th June and i waited till 3rd July, thougt it will not take more than 5th July but when i called ebay customer care a silly statement i got from representative that we cannot track the shipment as it is not even shipped.

 

I talked to Seller directly he said i have rapped the product and it was ready to ship on 30th June(Next Day of your oder). I called again to ebay customer care they asked 48 hours to get back. I waited again but no call or e-mail came. I called ebay again and asked they said that Sir, wait till 9th July if you do not get t by than your payment will be refunded back.

 

Now, interesting thing is my refund was in process but seller sent a refund stop request to ebay and ebay obeyed it with out asking me. I was in between seeing this shettle changing its court every day. I called again after 9th ebay representative said please wait for 48 hours we will check in our team and logistics department. Aramax is the courier vendor and belive me it horrible vendor for logistics i have ever experienced.

 

I strictly asked my payment back and finally it got processed again on 16th July and the payment is refunded back on 19th July. 

 

I really wasted my 20 days. Will never order from Ebay in future.

I BOUGHT AT BAGPACK FROM EBAY ON 12th JULY 2014. RECEIVED THE SAME ON 19TH JULY. WITHING 4 DAYS OF USAGE THE BAG STARTED LOSING THREAD AS IF ITS TEARING APART.

AS I AM COVERED UNDER EBAY 100% SATISFACTION  OR REFUND(WITHIN 30 DAYS) STATED ON EVERY PRODUCT. I RAISED A CLAIM ON EBAY. Claim ID : 578758. I GOT VERY UPSETTING RESPONSE FROM YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

 

AS PER YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM THE BAG HAS A 1 YEAR WARRANTY, SO EBAY IS NOT RESPONISBLE FOR THE PRODUCT. THEY WANT ME TO GO AND GET IT FIXED FROM AMERICAN TOURISTER SERVICE CENTRE. IF THIS IS THE MEANING OF EBAY GUARANTEE, THEN WHY SHOULD I BUY ONLINE AND WASTE MY MONEY AND TIME.
