Community Court Changes: Online Workshop, 4 - 5 PM, 24th December

Dear Members,

Community Court was established with an objective to provide a community forum to help address unfair feedback received by a seller. Basis the regular feedback we received from our community members, we are making significant changes to the existing Community Court to better fulfill the objective of keeping feedback fair.

The revamped Community Court will be now called Community Review Forum (CRF) and along will be effective from 3rd Jan 2011, 00:00:01 Hrs (IST).

We believe that these changes will go a long way in helping keep the eBay feedback system fair. To understand more about these changes, please join us for an online workshop on this topic between 4 PM - 5 PM on 24th December 2010 on this thread.

Please find below the reply given by ebay TnS team when I have appealed for removal of unfair Neutral feedback. They have refused to remove the feedback.
Please advise what to do now ????.

Who are the jury in this community court are these eBay employees or members from community and how do you decide who should vote , how are allocating franchisee rights for the jury, please elaborate.

A justice system from where the justice flows, if it is not disclosed, buyers and sellers whosoever will lose cases will feel its rigged, so keeping in mind the losing party and making the justice fair, as only proper learned community members who have proper experience of both buying and selling, should be made jury.

As even if eBay comes up with a world class justice system, but adjudicators are not chosen properly it will cripple down the entire system and ruin their buyers or sellers, whosoever gets a lame experience due to unqualified jury, preceding the cases, as now it ha become more important to have class jury as majority votes are not counted,

For a seller to win the case he will require 71 percent thumping majority, this is itself very partial , as majority itslef means 51 percent, this is a new breed/ebay definition of majority.

I am sure new system has been put in place for a transperent system.But for the Jury service earlier critearea seemed to be democratic and unbiased.

It is also not clear that what will happen to already enrolled jurors.

i dont see any CRF its due time as given on 3rd jan post 1 a.m, is there a different link to acess it ????

There have been no cases filed in last 6-7 days. So new CRF is going to be loaded about 7 times the normal traffic. going by the reputation of how things go around here. I just felt to remind this. It should not happen that system crashes owing to heavy opening traffic.
