Closing or Locking Certain Posts that are invalid anymore or Older

It would be good if you can close or lock certain Posts that are invalid anymore or older.

Or you can provide an option to mark it locked by the member who started the post.

You will understand the need for it if you go through the below post (though such things would happen rarely).

Yes, the eBay user who opens a thread should have the right to close it.

Received a call from eBay. They tried to further understand what we mean and hope they understood that "Thread owner should be given ability (option) to mark the post as 'closed' so that no one else can further reply to the post and bring the post to the top again.

Maybe executives should have ability to reply even after closing the thread (post).
